You might have a first adition! :D You just have to check! ^^ Look at the very bottom of the copyright page: that should tell you! :)

umm...guys?  that just means that the first american edition was in 1998, not that your book is from that edition...

the actual book was wrttien in 1997, but the americians got a different Copy, which was made in 1998

All my books are 1st print too with all the typos and everything. Like in the 2nd book where it says Perry instead of Percy. lol. Silly J.K.
