I have both, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Quidditch Through the Ages.  I didn't buy them together, though.  I bought Fantastic Beasts when it came out in paperback.  (I love it so much, I've read it so many times that the spine is coming off! :-[)  I got Quidditch Through the Ages for Christmas a year later.  It's in better shape that Fantastic Beasts. :-\

Hey, did you notice, in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, JK missed out the Boggart and the Dementor?

I've been using Fantastic beasts as a bookmark for my OOTP. I'm reading it all over again.
