He laughed, and still as he settled, he was smiling, toward Pig, in a kind way; unthreatening.

He bowed, then straightened, just as he had with Candace.

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen, it said 'Parking Fine.' So that was nice.
