Pondering In The Hogshead

Tika Whisper walked into the small dirty pub on the outskirts of Hogsmead. She had just had another run-in with Payne and Ginny. Payne was supposed to find her and teach her how to harness her power. She ordered a firewhiskey. She picked it up and a flame ignited in the cup. She stared at it for a moment before deciding she would ask Payne about it and sitting down in a shadowed booth.

All alone she thought what it would be like if her brother were still alive. The thought made her very lonely. She stared around the pub with false hope that anybody would come and talk to her. At least not the kind of person she wanted to talk to her. Yes, Tika really wanted a boy to talk to her. But they never did, Result: super self-esteem problems.

Tika grinned. "Gryffindor is cool. Just don't tell the other Slytherins I said that." She leaned back in her seat. "But, really, I've always admired bravery in a person. Guess that's cause I'm chicken crap myself."
