Payne swam next to a mermaid. They had been swimming for hours and Payne was tired. She sat on the shore close enough to the lake that she could talk to Lysira(the mermaid).

*He came down to the lake and saw Payne sitting on the shore.*Hey!Payne!

Payne looked at Josh,"Ello Josh!"

When Lysira saw Josh she ducked under water.Payne laughed and said something in mermish to the mermaid. She came back up but stayed half-way down.

Cool a mermaid reminds of a girl who used to come here.

''Who was she?" Lysira said something and Payne laughed. Lysira ducked back in the water.

"She insulted you."Payne laughed again,"I guess she doesn't like men with red hair. But that ain't what she insulted you about."

Well theres a good first impression*He said sarcasticaly.*

"Hey,It's better than what she said to me.She called me fat and said that the meremen were sharping there spears to kill me."She shrugged,"Took me a week to get her to trust me."

Well i see a pattern here that drunk guy called you fat the Mermaid called you fat.*He laughed jokinly.*

Payne looked at her stomach,"They must have vision problems." Lysira came back up and threw a rock at Josh.Payne caught it a threw it back at Lysira but she ducked before it hit her."Protective of her friends. Don't worry. She won't kill you."Payne smiled.

You know i could hurt her right now with my elemntel power but im in a good mood.

"Yeah and I wouldn't be your friend anymore if you did that."She threw a rock in the water as Lysira came up. "So why are you in a good mood?"

Well Snape is sick unable to teach potions for a week.
