hi there...

Tom Riddle is actually Voldermort as a teenager. Since you saw Chamber of secrets your obviously confused so heres the skinny . . . . . .When Voldermort had his body he trapped his memories inside of his diary . . . . if his diary was read those memories manifested themselves in a student and took control . . . . .If this "fake voldemort" got enough magic from the student . . . . . ensuring the students death . . . . voldermort memories would become a living breathing entity which would give him a body again which he could control and do his bidding since it would be him . . . . . Hoped that helped
