Alicia along the edge of the lake, looking into the murky depths sadly. She sighed and looked up at the sky, trying to make things better with her mind. She closed her eyes and imagined her sister, Lynna, hugging her and saying that everything was alright, and that she wasn't jealous. Opening her eyes, she sighed and knew that it was not that way. The thought of her sister made her depressed. She knew that she, the bouncy, happy eleven-year-old shouldn't be feeling this down... She missed her sister.
Tears stung her eyes and she rubbed them absently. She was determined not to cry and be called a crybaby. But no, of course her body didn't listen to her. Tears started spilling down her face as she walked, just wishing that her sister was on good terms with her. She stopped walking and sat below a near-by tree, pulling her knees in and hiding her face from any passer-bys. She didn't want them to know that she was crying. Even if she was a first year, she didn't think that anyone would take kindly to her crying. Definently a Slytherin, if one passed.
She sniffed, trying to stop the tears. She shouldn't be this down... She should be playing with one of her few friends or something of the sort. Not crying... Ever. She was hard on herself, but her sister told a long time ago that crying never helped matters, and that she shouldn't have self-pity, because there was nothing extremely major wrong with her life.
