Stacey gasped as Aiden ran into her. "Yes, I`m Stacey. Lavy asked me to give you this. She got caught up and can`t come today." She said softly.

"Uh," Stacey said, "Let me ask her." She closed her eyes and thought Lavy the question. She concentrated a lot, focousing only on the message, nothing else around her. She didn`t evem know if it would work or not, she had only done this once or twice.

Stacey snapped back, only faintly hearing what Aiden was saying. "Uh, she can`t make dinner, and I don`t know where she`s at." She explained apologetically.

"Hmmmm.......maybe the  letter says something." He pulled it out and actually looked at it. It was covered in partially dried blood, "What the hell is all this?" He asked, bringing the letter up to his nose. He sniffed it, "Why is this covered in blood?" He looked at Stacey for the answer.

Aiden looked away from her out the window, "I just have this feeling that something's up," he said, not really talking to her. He looked back down at the letter and opened it:

Dear Aiden,

I have an answer for you. It's no. For now. I'm sitting here in the dark in my room writing this, wondering why I can't say yes. And I hate to admit it but it's because of Neo. As if that man hasn't taken enough from me now he's taking away the chance for me to move on. Maybe it wouldn't be with you but with anyone. I went to see him again last week. He's better. He still wants me back but I don't know. I'm planning on giving this to you after lunch. So don't forget to show up.

Aiden looked back at Stacey, "Do you know what this letter says?"

Stacey hesitated and cursed in her mind, hoping that somehow Lavy had heard.
