The Explanation.

((Closed `till Rheese joins!))

Stacey say out by the Lake. Her arms were wrapped around the knees and her short hair blew around her face from the wind. She had asked Rheese to meet her out here; he had been gone a long time and she wanted to know why.

She really wanted to talk to him. He had been one of her best friends. Right before he left it had almost become more than that, but that was then, and this was now. Her eyes glimmered blu eas she heard footsteps.

Rheese was a wreck at the moment. Earlier thet day Stacey asked him to meet her out here by the lake and he knew why....she wanted some answers.As he got closer to the lake he saw her sitting there. Before he went out he made sure he had his story striaght. He snuck down there as best as he could and covered her eyes and said"Guess who!"

Stacey smiled and pretended to not know who covered her eyes. "Uhm... Jackie?" She asked, saying the first name she thought of. She pulled out of Rheese`s hold and turned to smile at him, her eyes bright blue.

"What took you so long?" She asked.

"Oh uhm...I was uhm....taking a nap you see and I woke up and remembered I was supposed to come down here yes that's what took me so long."Rheese said trying to cover up his lateness with a really lame excuse."So why did you ask me to come down here?"Rheese asked as if he didn't know.

Stacey could feel that the reason he gave wasn`t the true reason he was late, but she didn`t want to start off pushy. "I wanted to know why you disappeared, Rheese." She said softly after a moment. "You just disappeared. I didn`t know what happened to you. You could have been dead." Her voice slowly sped up a little.

Stacey nodded slowly. She was a fifth year now; fifteen years old, and engaged. She pursed her lips and looked at Rheese, her eyes full of questions. "You were gone for two years, Rheese." She said, swallowing a lump in her throat.

A tear rolled down his cheek as Stacey said it. He quickly wiped it away and continued the story."Well with my dad at work all the time my younger brothers had no one to watch them all day he only hoped that no one would find them.Well my mom was an auror that put many dark wizards away. First they got her then they got Zach the youngest of my brothers."This time Rheese started sniffling and more tears started rolling down his face."So dad asked me to come home without hesitation I went by the time I got there it was to late the muggle police had found him dead in an abandoned house. So after that my dad went utterly mad and the authorities put him in St.Mungo's. With Collin only eight it was my decision what would happen to him. I had no other option to put him in an orphanage where he would hopefully find a new family."Rheese fell to his knee's crying uncontrollably." I'm so sorry Stacey please forgive me?" Rheese said and with that he started to run to the forest....

Stacey was standing in an instant, she followed Rheese into the trees. She took him by the shoulders and hugged him tightly.

"It`s okay, Rheese, it`s okay. You don`t have to apologize about things like that. I understand; my dad was in the Order and everyone on his side of the family was killed, except him. Rheese, it`s okay."

She began rubbing his back as she spoke. Her voice was soft and her eyes were glassy with tears.

With everything Stacey had said he knew he was going to be okay somehow as long as Stacey was there he would be okay."Stacey I know you had to be worried  but I had so much on my mind I just wasn't thinking." Rheese said in a sorry tone of voice.He started to calm down more and then asked." Well now that I've told my story it's your turn whats happened with you in the last two years?"

Stacey froze, her left hand withing veiw. She took a small step back and took a deep breath. She wrapped her hands together, hiding her engagement ring. "Well, Rheese... I`m engaged." She lifted her left hand now.

Rheese stood there with his mouth open in shock. He was happy for her, but he also felt jealousy creeping up inside him. He quickly forgot about and said. "Oh my god thats....thats amazing I'm so happy for you Stacey!" Rheese said with excitement."Who's the lucky guy?"

Stacey gave a small smile. "Aiden Gray." She felt bad; before Rheese had gone, she had really thought that they would be more than friends. But then things happened...

Rheese saw how Stacey had gone from excited to almost sad. Rheese knew what she was thinking ,but did not bring it up. "Stacey whats wrong you should be happy".Rheese said with excitement
