Stacey weaved through the large trees, her eyes locked on the area in front of her so she wouldn`t run into anything. Her hair whipped around her face and her jacket was tight on her torso from the force. Her eyes were rich green, vibrant as a snake`s scales.

Her feet were bare and they pounded against the dift ground rythmatically.

Nate ran slickly around the trees in a swift movement, following Stacey easily. He picked up his pace, moving ahead of her and stopped abruptly in her path, right in front of her. He smiled with his ancient dark eyes,"Hey you,"a smile formed on his face.

Stacey gasped adn well into Nate, surprised by his appearence. "Hey." She said, taking an awkward step back. Her eyes were bright blue.

He also moved a step back,"So what are you doing out here," he asked curiously.

Stacey shrugged. "Running." As she said this, two wolves moved up behind her. One was rusty-red with bright blue eyes and the other was black and grey with amber eyes.

Nate instinctively hunched his back protectively and fangs appeared. He hissed.

Stacey held her arms up defensively. "Hey, now." She said softly. "Kuni." She whispered. The two wolves sat down, their eyes on Nate. The black and grey one was a lot smaller than the red one.

He stood up straighter at the sound of her voice but his fangs never dissappeared. His eyes turning a lighter shade.

"Nate," Stacey warned, pointing to him sharply. "Don`t you dare you anything to them, they won`t hurt either of us."

His white fangs slid in. He sighed,"Fine, but what are they doing here?" He relaxed and began to be curious. He knelt down and put his hand out so they could smell him.

The red wolf, Deshka, growled at Nate`s hand, but the smaller one slowly stepped forward to smell his palm. "I own them." Stacey answered softly.

"I didnt kmow you could have pets in school," he teased. He touched the little one softly, being careful.

The pup whined softly then took another step closer to Nate. That made Stacey laugh. "Wow, he likes you." She smiled at Nate. "And we`re not supposed to have pets."

Nate smiled, never leaving his eyes off of the little puppy. "You know i've never had a pet when i was younger," he said softly.

Stacey`s eyes softened. "Really?" She asked thoughtfully, her eyes spiking purple. The smaller wolf sneezed and sat down. The rust colored one rubbed itself against Stacey`s leg.
