Axel stood up and used his wand to send everything back under his bed. He looked at Alice and took her hand. "Is this okay?" He asked, nodding towards their hands.

Alice smiled and knodded.

"Sure, just tell me if you get cold." The silence wrapped around her. She didn`t understand why everything was quiet, but she didn`t care. It wasquiet.

"Lead the way."
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Axel lead her slowly down to the Common Room portrait,where the Fat Lady gave him a dirty look, and through the entrance. The fire was still going, but dying, giving off a dim lighting. Nobody was down there, all upstairs doing who knew what.

 He looked at Alice and stepped close to her. Stroking her cheek.

Alice smiled and closed her eyes, leaning forward on her toes. This quiet-- the peace that she felt-- was so amazing. She thought it might come from Axel, but she really didn`t know.

"I really do like you." She whispered, reflective eyes still closed.
