Seth chuckled and turned and felt his cheeks get hot. He sighed softly, happily, and stared down at her. He merely smiled and kissed her forehead.

Alice grinned and stepped out of his arms.

"Come here," She said, sitting on the edge of the bed, "You feel really tense. Tell me about your family. Did you tell them about me being a vampire?" She asked, moving until she was behind him. She rested her hands on his strong shoulders and pressed on them gently.

[Sky]

Seth moved his shoulders a little. She was right. He was tense. This felt incredible.

 "My Mother is a secretary and my Father is a construction worker. They decided to take on muggle jobs because with magic, they could get a lot done in a shorter amount of time. Axel used to live with us, but I don't think he ever really felt like a part of the family. My Mom didn't treat him like a son." He looked down at the bed then back up.

"I told my parents about you. Even when we weren't together. In fact, you came in a lot of the things we'd talk about. I told them about you being a vampire and that we planned on marrying. Yeah, that surprised them a little, but they know that I'm of age so they can't control it. Then I mentioned me becoming one. They didn't like that too much, but they'll get over it. Less food to make for holidays."

Alice frowned, still working at his shoulders.

"Well, it`s not like we can`t visit them. And we can still eat, it just tastes disgusting and we have to feel sooner." She explained. It was odd saying things as 'we' instead of 'me', but it felt good. She wouldn`t be alone any more. She would have some one to be with. Forever.

"I want to meet your family. Before you change." She said suddenly. "I want them to know who I am and what I do." I want them to trust me with their son, she added in her mind.

[Sky]

"Yeah, understandable. They'll love you. I just know it." Seth leaned forward a little.

"Thanks. That's good. You have no idea how amazing that was."

Alice smiled and layed down next to him, folding her hands over her stomach.

"You`re right, I don`t. Vampire don`t really have muscles you can feel like that. I haven`t had a masage I could feel in two hundred years." She shook her head slowly, looking up at Seth. He seemed to peaceful, so kind. It would be hard seeing him as a monster.

Seth laid down beside her on his side, supporting his head with his hand. He stared at her with a smile on his face.
 
"You aren't a monster. And we won't be monsters." He said softly.

Alice smiled.

"You could never be a monster to me, Seth. I love you too much for that." She moved closer to him and rested her head on his shoulder.

((Seth can read minds, he just doesn't do it much. I gave him the power when I first made him, but I never really liked it so it's rarely used.))


Seth put his arm around her and pulled her close. He could feel her cold skin through his shirt and shivered, but it was pleasant. "I love you too." He said.

Alice grinned widely and leaned over to kiss him gently.

"I loved you the first day I saw you, you know. Don`t know if I ever told you that, but it`s true. You made me want to drop everything and go dancing." She smiled and kissed him again, this time not pulling away.

Seth would have said how he felt the same way. That when they shared that first kiss, he knew that they were meant to be. That even though they had their rough times, he loved making up with her and being happy all over again. He kissed her back with all the love in the world.

Alice found herself leaning over Seth, and she didn`t quite remember how she got there. But she didn`t exactly care, either. All that mattered was him. Seth. That was all. He was all she needed to be happy.

It was morning. Early morning. The sun had just risen probably an hour ago and was shedding its light into the hotel room. Seth opened his eyes and immediately squinted as the light hit his eyes. Once they adjusted, he looked around, for just a split second forgetting where he was and what had happened. But then a smile slowly formed upon his lips and he turned to look for Alice.

Alice lay beside Seth, her arms folded up close to her. She felt the smoothness of the sheets that surrpunded her and the welcomign warmth of the warm sunlight. She was awake, but her eyes were closed. Her breathing was smooth and even, the familiar scent of Seth all around her. She felt him turn towards her and smiled, opening her eyes.

Seth`s face was close to hers, closer than she thought it had been.

"Good morning." She said, putting one hand against his chest. His skin felt nice against hers, not too hot and not too cold. It was just right.

Alice suddenly sat upright. Her long black hair fell around her shoulders, and she clutched to her chest. Seth`s skin hadn`t been hot, like it had been the night before. It felt like the same.....

"Oh, my God." She mumbled. Had she turned Seth in the middle of the night and not known it? But how would that have been possible? She thought back to the night before.... nothing. At least nothing that told her why Seth wasn`t radiating heat.

"Good morning." Seth said groggily. He yawned and then noticed her sit up and mumble something.

 "What is it?" He asked, sitting up too. "Is something wrong? Are you alright?"
