"Packing, trying to get Professor Longbottom to let me be an intern. Spent a lot of time down at the lake, or in the woods. Not been able to sleep. Always hoping you would show up there." She finished the sentence with a smile.

She took another sip of the firewhiskey, and took off her shoes.

Axel frowned.

 "I'm usually running. Sometimes I'm unaware of my surroundings. I just...run." He stared at her feet for a minute and then looked at her with a mischievious smile. He suddenly picked her up, laughing, and started for the lake.

As soon as she saw that smile Avalee knew Axel was about to do something. "Axel don-!" But before she could finish he had already swooped her up and was sprinting towards the lake. She wrapped her arms around his neck and closed her eyes. Almost laughing.

"Axel!" She warned. Getting ready for the cold water to splash over her.
