He shrugged but had a smile on his face.

"We'll make it work." Phoenix whispered, taking her hand in his and giving it a little squeeze. "It'll be our little secret." He said after she kissed him. "We'll make it work." He repeated.

"I'm not let you go." Avalee said. "I'm far too suborn." Then she smiled lightly. She reached for the butterbeer and two glasses.

Phoenix leaned back into the couch and closed his eyes.

 This would work, right? Nobody would find out.

 He didn't want their relationship to be a secret. He wanted everyone to know how lucky he was.
