Dillun had waited and waited.
She had been waiting for her friend, Riley to hurry up and get his robes.
She had been staring out of the window listening to people talk about how fun it would be starting Hogwarts.
"Mmm" she sighed. Dillun remembered the First time she started.
This year was the starting of her fourth year at Hogwarts.
She had been waiting for so Long that her eyes felt like they were going to pop.
She had walked out of the shop and waited outside in the strong wind.
Sometimes she wished that the wind would lift her up and she'd sit on the top of the clouds.
She smiled wishing there was a spell that could make it happen.
She sighed once more knowing that by now Riley had picked something to wear.
He hurried out.
"I need a new wand, come and get one with me" he said frantically as if in less than five seconds school would start.
She cursed under her breathe. She hated shopping with Riley, it was so annoying, he wanted everything he could find, and the best things of it.
She waited outside the door of the shop and watched as her friend picked a wand. Now she really wished she could sit on top of the clouds.
"Oh Take me away!" she said talking to the sky, she must have looked stupid but it didn't bother her much it was horrible shopping with a friend.

Nathan had been shopping around Hogsmead, preparing himself for his sixth year at Hogwarts. He'd managed to buy himself a new wand, cape and cauldron. His parents were willing to supply him with the best, because god forbid he not be the best. He'd gotten everything he needed but wasn't quite ready to head back to the school so he wandered around the town a little bit.

He loved walking through Hogsmead. The sights, the smells, and the cobblestone path that intertwined through the shops. It was a very scenic stroll and he was enjoying himself. Just as he passed the wand shop for the second time he noticed a girl who looked awfully flustered. She looked rather annoyed and was yelling up at the sky.

Nathan walked over to her and looked up at the sky. "Do they take requests up there now?" he asked jokingly. He looked back down at her, she was sitting and was much shorter than his tall 6'1 stature at the moment. "I'm Nathan Thresher. Care if I join you?" he said, gesturing to the empty spot next to her.
"You have to belive in something or you will fall for anything."

Dillun had just heard a voice, she'd had her head stuffed between her knees. She looked up.
"Dillun" she replied.
She moved over offering him to sit down.
"So do you go to Hogwarts?" she asked, Dillun wondered as he looked older than what he was.
Suddenly out of the blue she heard a crash, one of the windows were broken,Dillun hadn't known whether or not it was from the inside or outside.
She pulled her wand out.
"Know any good spells?" she asked fiercely.

Meanwhile Riley had been in the wand shop, trying wands out.
First he tried a 6 inch wand he flicked the wand and it gave him a fright as one of the boxes on the shelves had fell out. This was not a good one for him.
His next choice had been 7 inches. He used his patronous charm, his patronus was a bear cub.
It had turned out horrible.
Next was an other 6 inches wand he flicked and broke the window and made an epic noise.
None of the wands seemed to be choosing him.
His next choice was the 5 inches this was perfect nothing broken. He was headed out as Dillun got ready to pounce with her spells.

"Nice to meet you Miss. Dillun." Nathan said as he settled into the spot next to her. " And yes I do, I'm a sixth year. Ravenclaw. How about ..." he was cut off by the glass shattering in the building next to the bench. "...you." he finished after the glass settled on the ground.

He watched her pull out her wand and he answerd, "Actually I just might." Nathan was a pretty good student. "Reparo" he said as he waved his wand, watching as the glass popped back into place. "That solves our  little problem." he said allowing himself to settle back into the bench.
"You have to belive in something or you will fall for anything."

Riley wandered out and wandered past them towards a  store.
Dillun had been trying to remember what they'd been talking about since the bang since she'd forgotten all about it.
"Dillun Maradoo, Hufflepuff. Fourth grade and a muggleborn and proud of it."
That was all her details. "I wanna try that spell." Dillun picked her wand up and cast, "Reparo!"
A broken object had been cured with her spell, so she must have succeeded.
"So Nat, wanna walk around, the ground's pretty cold" she said hoping up."Besides I've got to find my friend, i think he took off" she said.

Nathan smiled and let Dillun talk, she was on a roll and he wasn't about to stop her. "Well I'm glad to meet you." he said inbetween one of her sentences. He paused and let her preform the spell. "Perfect" he said after she completed it.

As Dillun began to get off the ground Nathan followed her. He stood up and brushed the dirt off of his pants. He followed her as she began to walk away, "Sure, I've got all day."

"So Dillun, what do you do tokeep yourself busy?" Nathan asked. In his free time, well in the past he had't much free time. He'd kept busy with homework and studying. Always trying to get ahead.
"You have to belive in something or you will fall for anything."

What an interesting question.
Dillun smiled, as if blushing a bit, she looked at Nath and pretended to look away.
Dillun wasn't your average girly-girl. She was different from them, a lot different but somehow everyone thought she was crazy or something, ignoring her every comment, just because of her sense of style, being goth. Except for a few, Riley and his cousin Linvy were her besties. Nathan however, was different.
Dillun hadn't known how but she felt a bit awkward being with him, and him alone.
"Not much" she said after being in her own moment blocking everything around her so she had only heard herself. She blinked to get herself onto planet Earth again.
She started to run, her legs were uncontrollable.
She hoped Nathan was following because her head never wanted to swerve around to check.

Nathans deep brown eyes followed Dillun down the path as she took off running from him. Did I say something... he asked himself as he contemplating chasing after her. He wasn't much for running so he thought he'd wait a minute for her to slow down.

After about ten minutes Nathan finally caught up with her. If she didn't want to talk to him that was fine, but he wanted to know what exactly he had done.

He walked up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Dillun, excuse me but did I do something wrong? Or say something offensive." he realized he was beginning to ramble, something that he never did. He was always calm and collected, never letting what anybody else thought bother him.

"I don't mean to prod, and if I'm bothering you I'll leave but, may I ask what I did wrong?" he placed his hands behind his back and looked Dillun in the eyes as he waited for an answer.
"You have to belive in something or you will fall for anything."

Dillun stopped.
She'd been confused, had he thought that Dillun was running away from him?
"Wrong, what do you mean "wrong"?"  Dillun asked, looking into his eyes, they seemed to be hypnotizing, she just couldn't stop herself from staring.
"Did you think i ran away cause i didn't wanna be with you? Well you're wrong, you're cool Nathan but i need to help my friend, you can tag along if you want."
Dillun began running again. Had she said the correct thing?
I mean why would Nathan wanna hang out with someone like me he deserves to be a bit more popular not with me anyway, i'm so unpopular.

"Wrong, what do you mean by wrong" she'd said. He started to answer but was cut off. She'd been running after her friend. He shrugged, supposing that it made sense.

He started to stammer, yet again, another answer but stopped when she turned around and began running again. He blinked a couple of times as she ran away. And then he took off after her.

Running was something Nathan wasn't good at. He was too tall and lanky, and looked very awkward when he tried. Yet there was something about Dillun that intrigued him and made him want to follow, even if he had to look like an idiot doing it.

Finally he caught up to her and stopped next to her. He hunched over and placed his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath.

"I don't run" he finally sputtered. "Like, ever." . He was able to stand up and looked up at her, allowing her to see how exhausted he was.
"You have to belive in something or you will fall for anything."

It was starting to get crowded with people now as this time of the day was the busiest.
Dillun turned around to look at Nathan.
"Oh sorry, i just thought you would be a good runner you know being tall and all" Dillun could see that she had made him exhausted.
She felt bad for making him run all this way, considering that she was on a mission right?
She grabbed his hand to pull him up from hunching over.
"It's bad for your back," she said smartly smirking.

"Looks can fool y'know. Never judge a book by its cover, especially when it has to do with athletics." he smirked back at Dillun after her comment about being hunched over.

"And running is bad for my lungs, and legs and feet. And possibly even my ego." He looked down at her small hand in his. One minute she was running away and the other she was being a smart alick and holding his hand. He couldn't figure her out. Nathan was n extremely smart guy but girls was a subject he didn't understand.

"So, what can I do to help you help your friend." he said looking down the path to try and locate him.
"You have to belive in something or you will fall for anything."

Dillun wanted so desperately to get out of this situation. She felt darkness lurking over her like her shadow was taking over. She felt greed, maybe she could spend a little more time here and forget about Riley.
But something in that darkness felt like a torch trying to seek help.
The torch of light told her to go and get Riley and then introduce the two together, but the darkness said no; have him all to yourself.
Dillun had no idea which to go with, in the end darkness was more powerful and she sided with evil.
"We don't have to find him if you want, we can just wait for him and he can find us later."
Dillun moved more closer to him.

Nathan was confused, he felt like he was getting mixed signals from Dillun. "Well if he needs help we should go find him. Any friend of yours is a friend of mine." he said with a smile.

Nathan squeezed Dillun's hand, "Come on, I'll help you find him." he said and waited for her to lead in a direction.
"You have to belive in something or you will fall for anything."

But Dillun never led Nathans hand towards where he'd liked.
She pulled his arm closer to her and gave an evil grin.
She had other plans for her and her crush.
Dillun went in for it about to touch his soft lips to hers.
