No worries! Pretty sure we all have our own personaal distractions. I actually have a story I'm dying to put out there, but it had nothing at all do do with Harry Potter, or any of my characters for that matter.
So I have noo idea what to do with it!

Jade smiled, mischief glinting bravely in her eyes. "I'll race you to the lake?" She half asked, half challenged, the wind whipping her hair around her face suddenly. She laughed softly and pushed it out of her eyes, taking out her wand. "Accio thunder." She murmured, waiting a moment before a broom shot towards her hand.

She grabbed it and looked at Andy. "What do you say?"

"You will rue this day! Rue it!"

"How about..." Jade pondered for a moment. "Down by the lake? I haven't been to the lake in a while."

She pushed open the door of the bar, smiling as the night air hit her face. It brought with it the smells of other people and what smelled like a bonfire or something similar to it. Jade began walking, but whipped around quickly. "We could go swimming!!" She nearly shouted. "It's a perfect night. I mean, look you can see all the stars."

Jade had always liked swimming. Even as a child, swimming had been an escape. And who doesn't want an escape every now and then?

WHen will i need to know the area of square on demand?

I confess that my best friend is a former druggy, and most of her friends still are.
I confess that I;m going to spend a week with her. Just me.
i confess that I'm nervous because she lives across the country.
I confess she pushes me to do risky things.
I confess a lot of the time it turns out fun.
I confess i have no idea what to do.

Jackie shook her head, still reveling in the different smells. "I have no idea." She said, with a tiny laugh. The list in front of her had many different teas and beverages. She closed her eyes, thinking for a moment.

"How about cocoa. Classic hot chocolate." She decided on after a moment. You could never go wrong with a classic like hot chocolate. She smiled and looked around the shoppe. It was quaint. The whole atmosphere was very homely.

Jackie took her wand out of her boot, where she tended to keep it. She murmured under her breath and her clothes were dried immediatly. She looked outside. The rain was finally starting to clear up she noted happily.

["Kendall."]

And I apologize if some of the ideals about vampires are incorrect and all, so let my know!))

Jade arrived back at her dorm, tip toeing so as not to wake the other girls, who were fast asleep. She slipped into her night gown and slid under the covers, unable to get the strange girl out of her mind. The girl had seemed distressed and anxious. She had been in a hurry too.

As Jade closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep, she couldn't help but feel that the strange blonde girl was important somehow.

It was a stranger who passed the alley without a second glance. Good. He had no idea what would have been waiting. Jackie turned to the boy in her hands. There was one option she had left that she could think of. She bit her lip, tentatively. What if he didn't want this fate? But she had to do something. This was her fault.

Jackie set her lips with a grim resolve. She reached pulled her wand out of her pocket. She may not have been good at remembering spells, but she knew at least one. "Accio Everest." She murmured, waiting. Not even a minute later, a golden handled dagger was in her hand. She clenched her teeth closed her eyes as she made a cut in her wrist. Irregaurdless of her will power, Jackie still gasped in pain as the blood welled up from her arm. That was her life flowing out of her.

She held her wrist to the boy's mouth and nudged his lips open so the warm blood flowed into his mouth. Then she gently stroked his throat, forcing the life giving juice into his body. "Please work." Jackie begged. The boy may have already been too far gone. "Come on. Come on!" She urged, continuing to hold her wrist to his mouth.

Suddenly the boy jerked violently, his entire body spasming. Jackie almost laughed with relied. It worked. He was now experiencing flashes of excruciating pain. But he was alive. Or dead, depending on how you wanted to look at it.

After five or so minutes of the boy twisting in Jackie's arms, he stopped. Jackie smiled. He would be awake soon now. His eyes fluttered open, staring at Jackie's face. "Come on." She murmured, standing him up. "What's your name?" She asked softly.

"Kendall." The boy whispered.

I confess I am angry.
I confess I am debating killing him.
I confess that I may spiral downwards and not be able to come back up.
I confess I don't know whether to believe her.
I confess he might have herpes.
I confess I'm pretty sure he does.
I confess that I slapped him when I found out.
I confess my friendship with her is in danger because of him.
I confess I now think my friend is a very *friendly* person.
I confess I have no idea what I'm doing or what I'm supposed to do.
I confess I'm in over my head.

Jackie passed in through the open door, a wall of flavors and scents hitting her as she walked in. It all smelled so... good. It was all she could do to stop from reeling backwards. The flavors teased her taste buds when she opened her mouth, and she nodded in realization. She could almost taste the different bitter and sweet flavors. The strong earthy ones, and the light flowery ones.

They all combined together to make a symphony of senses. "It smells amazing!" She exclaimed, wandering forward towards a small table for two.  Jackie hardly noticed how her clothes were clinging to her now. She didn't care that her tank top was probably see through. 

She was calm and felt relaxed. The first she had really felt this way in weeks.

["Jackie! What happened to you?" He said, jumping down from his chair where he was reading the paper. She was covered in red lipstick and her eyes were black. The lids, the lashes, the skin in a radius of about one inch of the eye were black. And around one bright blue iris, the white of her eye was a bright angry red. "I poked my eye when I was m-making myself pretty like mommy!" She had walied, the black smearing down her face.He had held her face in his hands and wiped the black river off with his hands. "You're pretty like mommy just the way you are." He had murmured, chasing all the pain away when he kissed her forehead.]

Jackie smiled as Seth wiped the black away from her face. Her father had did that once when she was a child.

"Jackie! What happened to you?" He said, jumping down from his chair where he was reading the paper.

She shrugged the memory off, warmed with it's effect. Then she looked down in the direction Seth had pointed, grateful for the air umbrella. She looked at him, his har flattened and his clothed sticking to him, similar to how she looked.

"You know, I've never actually had tea before." She stated, as they came up to the small building. "Is it any good?"
