Stacey burst through the last few trees to the clearing, her eyes a murderous red. She threw off her light jacket; already the heat was too much for her. She didn`t care where it landed, right now she was just filled with hatred and energy.
She flicked two two-foot long daggers from her thighs and twilrled them. Fire trailed from her hands, but she didn`t pay attention to it. She flipped the knives and caught them by the tips of the blades. She flipped them again and kicked her right leg out, catching the knives before they even came close to cutting here as they spirraled down.
Her light brown hair was wild, full of the electricity her anger produced. She continued her movements, combining complicated knife throws and karate moves. She ended up right in front of a tree, breathing heavily.
She stared at the tree where one of the long knives stuck; the other was clutched in her hand. Sweat trickled down her forhead and back, even though the temperature was cool.
Her eyes tilted as she heard the light noise of another`s footsteps and turned and threw the other knife. It spiraled across the clearing and stuck into a tree, a hundred yards from her. She glared at where the noise was coming from, almost daring that perseon to come forth.
Leah poked her head down from a tree, hanging much like Spiderman. She pulled the knife out of the tree, and examined the hole. She put her hand over it, and when she moved her hand, the hole was gone. She inspected the knife. It was of very good quality, expensive too.
Only once she had completed the inspection did she look at Stacey. She held the knife and said, "It really is dangerous to be throwing these things. They're awfully sharp."
Stacey growled under her breath as she pulled the other knife out of the tree. "I know." She hissed. She didn`t want to be acting rude towards Leah like this, but she was just way too mad to do anything about that.
She threw the knife into the air, watching it spiral downwards. She threw up her leg and kicked the knife when it was about four feet off of the ground. It changed direction and flew towards another tree on the other side of the clearing.
Nate walked a path through the trees, walking swiftly on the ground. He was staring at the ground in deep thought as he suddenly looked up to hear the swoosh of a blade coming towards a tree kind of by him. He narrowed his eyes, knowing without looking that Stacey and Leah were there as he caught the blade with a single grasp. He looked down at his hand, the imprint of the blade creased into his hand. He didnt winced because it didnt hurt. He looked up at Stacey who looked abnormally angry,"What are you doing with this," he asked calmly.
Stacey hissed again and held up her arms, palms out. The blades flew from Nate and Leah`s grasp and into her hands. She threw them straight up and they rose to about thirty feet before they began to fall.
They slowly turned so the blades faced the ground and Stacey caugth them as soon as they were within her reach. She sent them spiralling towards the other end, away from Nate.
"What`s it look like I`m doing?" She said angrily. Her eyes were still deadly red as she looked back at Nate. For some reason, it felt easier to take her hatred out on Nate rather than Leah.
Nate disappeared in a blurr, running abnormally fastly and stopping directly by Stacey,"Letting out your anger with knives and trees," he whispered.
Stacey absorbed some of his power and was tweny feet away in a split second. Fireworks exploded from her palms. "Got any better ideas?" She challenged, starting to pace back and forth, fire glowing from her palms.
Nate glared at her menacingly,"Why are you pissed-off?" He said softer,"I'm not gonna fight you."
"I don`t want to fight you." Stacey hissed, still pacing. The knives had slowly flown towards her and were orbiting about her body now. Some of the flames joined and were cirling around her as well.
"Well then that narrows it down, why are you so d*mn angry," he asked coolly.
Stacey growled as she turned on her heel. "A bunch of reasons." She spit.
Nate looked at her innocently,"I think me and Leah got time to listen,"he said for the both of them
The fire around Stacey flickered and cooled a few degrees. "You wouldn`t understand." she said softly, her voice full of resentment. "Aiden and I are angaged, Nate." She added in a whisper, stopping with her back to Nate.
Leah appeared by Stacey's side, inside of the orbiting ring of danger. "I didn't know that! Congratulations!" She said, hugging Stacey. She knew that Stacey wouldn't hurt her, and if she did, she couldn't kill her.
((Orbiting Ring of Danger? Sounds scary!))
Stacey couldn`t help but smile when Leah hugged her. She pulled out an ivory envelope and held it out to her. "Yea." Was all she could say. She knew how Nate would feel right now.
((Hehe I know! I'm guessing this is an invite to your wedding, right?))
Leah looked at Stacey questioningly, taking the envelope from her. She opened it, glancing up at Stacey a few times. She pulled out a beautiful invitation. She scanned it, and then threw her arms around Stacey's neck. Tears streamed down her face and she sobbed, "My baby's all grown up!!!"
((Nah, it`s an invitation to give me presents at the wedding!))
Stacey smiled and put her arms around Leah and rubbed her back. "Hey, it`s okay. You still have over a year for me to be your baby." She said softly, momentarily forgetting Nate. "I was also wondering if you would like to be a bride`s maid."
Leah took Stacey by the shoulders so that she could look her in the eyes. She was checking to make sure that she was serious. Once she had determined that Stacey was serious she began to scream.
"Thank you!! Thank you thank you thank you!" She said, hugging her again.
((Talk about an Alice-Reaction...))
Stacey laughed and hugged her again. "You`re welcome. But what happened to being mad at me for growing up?" She teased, her eyes were bright now and the fire around her had cooled dramatically and was revolving slower.
((Like Alice Cullen? I know.))
She laughed and used her sleeve to wipe her eyes. She said, "I can get over you being old as long as I get to be a Bridesmaid!!" She said, jumping up and down again.
She suddenly got serious and said, "Do you know what my dress looks like? Do you know what your dress looks like?"
((Why does everything I touch remind me of Twilight?!?!))
Stacey froze; she knew what Leah`s reaction would be, and that scared her. "N... no. I don`t know, yet." She said softly, her eyes getting big.
((I know!))
"Stacey... What aren't you telling me?" Leah started walking towards her, questioningly. She puffed out her chest and made herself taller than Stacey. "I don't want to have to hurt you."
For every step that Leah took forward, Stacey took a step back. "I... I`m saying I don`t have the dresses picked out yet." She stammered.
((Sigh... I think when I read the Twilight Saga my brain reprogrammed itself.))
"Mhm... sure. What aren't you saying Stacey? You can't hide anything from me." She said, continuing to walk forward.
((I think that happened to everyone who read it))
((Stop scaring her! She`s telling the truth!))
"I don`t have the dresses picked out yet!" Stacey exclaimed, still walking backwards. "I haven`t even looked for them yet. Practically everything else has been taken care of!"

Leah looked at her once more, finally determined that she was telling the truth. "Oh good! I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to shop for them with you!" She said, immediately happy again.

Stacey relaxed, then tensed again. "Wait... What?" She asked. She sighed, knowing she was defeated. "How about you meet me in Hogsmead next Friday night? We won`t be back until the next day." She said.
((I`ll start a new topic in Hogsmead for that!))
Leah lifted Stacey up, using her vampire strength. "YES! We're going shopping!!" She set her down again, and said, "We'll pick out the most perfect dresses and everything! Oh this is going to be so much FUN!" She sighed, imagining it.
((OMG! Did you base Leah off of Alice?!?!))
Sacey couldn`t help but laugh at Leah. "Wow, I didn`t know you`d get that excited." She said through giggles.
(((Not really, but she's ending up to be a lot like her!))
Leah almost shook with excitement. "Never underestimate the boost of a shopping trip." She said, like an old scholar.
((Just nothing pink and frilly, okay?))
Stacey laughed again. "Wow, okay then." She remembered Nate. "Oh." She said softer.

Leah looked up and saw Nate there. She had completely forgotten about him. She was just so caught up in the idea of a shopping trip.

Nates eyes dropped down to the ground as he tried to listen to their conversation but he couldnt hear. His heart was pounding so fast that the pulse was the only thing he could actually listen to. He didnt say anything for what seemed like forever. He felt invisible and defeated. He glanced up slowly so his head wouldnt cause a bigger headache,"That's great," he said shakily. He put on a close enough smile he could make but he knew it was too easy to see right through it.

((He`s sad because I met Aiden right after Stacey and him started like, going out kind of, and Stacey chose Aiden over Nate.))

"Nate," Stacey complained. She walked towards him and put her hands on his arms. "Please Nate, just pretend that I hadn`t said that for right now. You can sulk when I`m not around. Can you just be a friend for me right now?" She asked, locking her eyes with his.
Leah stood still, watching. She wasn't very close with Nate, and decided just to listen instead of comfort him when she didn't know what was wrong.
Nate nodded and looked through his dull eyes and into hers. He opened his mouth to say that he will be a good friend but his throat was too dry.
Stacey looked away, tears pooling in her eyes, but she refused to let herself cry. She turned away from Nate and quickly wiped her hand over her face. The fire that had been circling around her had disappeard and the knives had fallen to the ground.
He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath of fresh air. He opened his eyes again, facing her and said firmly but a little shaky,"Good friends stick together right?" He looked away for a second, and said in a whisper,"Stacey i want to stick together with you, like good friends do for eachother. I want to and i will be that friend for you. You should know that."
Stacey smiled softly and nodded. "I know." She breathed.
Nate smiled softly,"Good."
Stacey closed her dark eyes and took a deep breath.
He pursed his cold lips together. He was silent for awhile, not speaking just thinking then finally he spoke," I..uh am proud of you," he didnt know how to say it. "I mean..um its great that your getting married."
Stacey shook slightly with a single, silent laugh. She loved Nate`s horrible attempts at small talk, he was so bad at it. "Thank you." she said softly.
Leah's shoulders shook lightly with laughter, though she made no sound. She like to just observe things sometimes, now was one of those times.
Nate jerked his head at Leah, knowing that she was there. He blushed and shook his head,"D*mn i hate small talk."
Stacey laughed out loud this time, her eyes gleaming. "And you`re so horrible at it." She teased.
"Oh shut up! I cant help my unability to make small talk," he replied with a slight smile.
"I think it's funny!" Leah said, giggling. "Especially because you're just sobad at it!"
"Hey stop ganging up on me! I feel so violated," he teased. A smile appearing on his face.
Stacey laughed. "We aren`t ganging up on you, just making fun of your inability to make small talk." She said with a smile.
"Well it feels like it," he replied.
Leah laughed and said, "Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings!"
Stacey plafully pushed Nate. "I did." She giggled sarcastically.
Leah laughed, waiting for Nate's reaction.
"Hey i wouldnt do that if i were you. I'm a vampier, i got more of the advantage," he smiled, white pointed teeth appearing. He teased.
"She could be a vampire too you know! She could just borrow your powers, or mine too." Leah said. "So technically, we have the advantage."
Stacey laughed, and to prove Leah`s point, she grew her own vampire teeth, thanks to Leah`s powers. "Exactly." She teased, putting her hand on her hip.
"Well arent you just special," he muttered.
Stacey gasped. "Duh, who doesn`t know that?" She said, being overly dramatic.
"What else would we be? Normal? Psh... no chance" Leah said, rolling her eyes.
"More like special ed," he teased. He put his hand up, a wand in it and gripped it as flashing colors came and two snowballs hit both of them.
Stacey`s hands flashed un instinctivly and she snowballs melted before it touched her. She eyes were orange again from using the heat of fire, but she wasn`t angry.
Leah was hit with the snowball, but it fell to the ground. She wiped the snow off of her face, where it had hit and said, "Oh you are so gonna pay for that!"
"So gonna pay." Stacey agreed with an evil smile. The heat was vasable around her now, moving in waves around her body.
Leah giggled, lightning crackling in her hair. She was gathering lightning together, knitting it to make a ball, much like a snowball. She was doing it behind her back so Nate couldn't see, but he would definitely see it later.
Stacey saw the lightening ball and slowly started gathering electricity for her own little lightening ball. She put one hand behind her back, holding the other out towards Nate.
Leah let the first lightning ball float in the air. Of course she was using magic to hold it up, but it seemed to just stay in one place, of it's own accord. She began to make a second ball, and noticed Stacey making her own.
~I thought her element was fire...~ She thought to herself, shrugging.
~Fire is a main element, but I can also control the minor elements that result to or are resulted from fire.~ Stacey replied quickly, letting the lightening ball grow larger in her hand.
Leah hadn't thought to Stacey, but it was possible that Stacey had overheard her thoughts. She made a mental note to work on that. Leah was making lightning balls very quickly. She was onto her third, her fourth. Did Nate not notice her almost breaking into a sweat?
Nate leaned his head to the side. "Do you really think im that naiive here?" He almost blurred behind and up to a branch on a tree. "Okay now ya can hit me," he smiled innocently.
Stacey suddenly appeared right behind Nate, carefully balancing on the branch. The lightening orbs she made floated obidiantly towards Leah. She placed her hands on his shoulders. "That`s what you think." She chided.
Nate squeezed his hands into fists ready to take the pain. A smug smile across his face, as he pretended as it wasnt going to hurt.
Stacey smiled mischeviously. "Oh, I`m not going to hurt you yet." She winked at him, then shoved him off of the branch.
Nate landed catlike on his feet, his fingers touching the ground. He spun around and looked up at her,"Well now your being a jerk." A smile tugged at his lips.
Leah laughed. "I guess that's just the way of the world these days Nate! People are jerks!"
Stacey jumped and landed nimbly in front of Nate, lightening sparking from her hands. "Aw, come on, I`m not that bad." She said with a fake frown.
"Yeah, come on Nate!" Leah laughed. The lightning sparkled behind her back, throwing odd shadows on the plants behind her.
(Leah should stop flirting with nate,and whoever altered my story ,"Relizing Love"Book #1, should erase that right now!Thanks!!!)

"Oh no not that mean just really really mean." He smiled,"And two against one is unfair." He backed away, step by step, away from stacey and Leah.
"Unfair?" Leah asked, looking at her feet, then back up at Nate. "Unfair, or just too easy?" She smiled at him throwing a glance at Stacey. She began to walk towards him at the same pace that he was backing away, still smiling.
"Oh no now mean Leah and scary Stacey are gonna go murder me in the forest," he teased. He stopped abruptly with a smile on his warm face
Most of Leah's courage disappeared. When Nate smiled like that, she knew that he had something up his sleeve. She eyed him closely, trying to stay prepared.
Nate smiled again his brilliant smile. "Are you gonna come over here and get me yet?" He teased.
"Well... that's something that you're going to have to find out on your own..." Leah said. She smiled back at him, still thinking that he was going to try and trick them.
"Hmm i think someones scared," he tested.
"Phht! Scared? Me?" Leah said, nervously looking around. "Why would I be scared?"
"Huh i dont know. maybe because your not moving closer to me anymore." Nate had put on his innocent smile.
Leah took a step forward, glanced at her feet, and then looked back at Nate. "And now?"
"I meant like in the three foot area. Jeez im not gonna murder you," he replied
Leah stepped barely into the three foot area and said, "Fine, have it your way!"
Nate smiled,"Thats better but not good enough. I promise i wont hurt you." He held his hand to his chest in a promising salute.
Leah continued to step forward until they were touching. "Promise?" She asked, holding up a lightning ball threateningly. She looked up at him, raising one eyebrow.
"I promise. But if you dont put that thing away i might have to break that promise," he winked.
Leah looked down at the sparkling ball of lightning in her hand. She shrugged, knowing she could make another one. It slowly shrank until it was hardly visible, and then disappeared with a pop!.
Nates eyes sparkled as he knew she can just as easily make another one. He gestured sweetly,"Now come over here beautiful"
Leah raised an eyebrow, walking slowly forward. She thingyed her head, not sure what he was up to. She stopped, looking at him quizzically.
He walked forward too, standing really close to her and with one swift movement he moved her to the ground gently, and tickled her with his cute little boy smile. "I got you!"
((It said I thingyed my head... I think all I said was t.i.l.t.e.d ... but that's not bad!!))
One second Leah was standing on solid ground and in the next instant, she found herself on the ground laughing uncontrollably. She rolled on the ground, the tickling relentless. She flailed her arms and legs uselessly, giggling all the while.
Nate laughed,"Now say your sorry for threatening me." He tickled her more, not going to let her go without defeat.
Leah rolled on the ground, tears streaming down her face. She couldn't stop laughing, and talking was almost totally out of the question.
"I... I... I'm... s...s...SORRY!" She managed to choke out, panting in between her attempts at talking and her uncontrollable laughter.
Nate smiled mischieviously. He had won. Nate moved his hands,"Thats what i though!"
Leah sighed, panting slightly. She began to wipe the tears from her face, giggling slightly.
She sat up, smiling at him and said, "You are so gonna pay for that!"
Nate smiled,"Oh yea and what are you going to do?"
Leah chewed the inside of her cheek, thinking. Suddenly a smile spread across her face. She chuckled softly, loving her brilliant idea.
"You know what I'm going to do? Nothing." She said, completely serious.
He narrowed his eyes in confusion,"Thats your payback?" He smiled brilliantly and floppd his hands in the air,"Sounds good to me!"
Leah sat cross-legged on the ground with her back to Nate, silently. She didn't move, didn't speak, didn't even look at him. She hardly even appeared to breathe.
