The squid was moving so much it made Rain loosen her grip. Then she felt she needed air and quickly swam to the surface and took a big gulp of air.

"Yeah." Rain said then she dove down and grabbed one of the tentacles of the squid and let it carry her.

Rain saw Billie dive in and sunk lower in the water. She only had underwear and a bra on. How embarrassing. (sp?) "Hey."she said back. "I'm swimmin with the squid. Wanna come with?"she asked. She wasn't very good at these sort of things.

Rain watched as if in slow motion Keke fell on Oliver and Megan on Keke. She was quiet for a while then suddenly burst out laughing. It was like she couldn't stop.

Rain watched as Keke went to the door passing her as she went. Rain looked down and tried to find her mother's letter in her pockets. She grabbed it and felt along the stamp that was surrounded by velvet. Then she felt at the bottom of the envelope and felt for the ring. It was now the only thing she had left of her mom. Seemed like now it was the only familiar thing with her. She sat by the tree and just closed her eyes imagineing what it would be like to be up there.

well i'm in eigth grade dude. kind of suckish. i go to franklin junior high. we're a hick town. i'm mean we're freakin small. everybody lives like a block from the school. ha ha. we have a lot of future farmers in our school and a lot of wannabe gangsters ha ha. i mean a lot. and we don't even have any african american peeps. so yeah i was very confused when i got there.
