What can I say? It's been a while =D

Hi everyone, I'm (unfortunately) still alive =P

lolz... If JKR put something like that in her books she'd be sued. Nope... None of that at all ;D

But some stuff were not mentioned in the book... Anyway, good info, LordBlaze, though I must say anything appearing on Wikipedia must be treated with a little caution. I see they are all referenced, though, so they should be ok.

Personally I'd take the cloak, since it doesn't have any strings attached.

uNoPoh is very right about the duelling thing. If we compile all the spells that's ever been mentioned in the book, we still can't duel properly, because there's only a few spells suitable for duelling... I mean, you wouldn't be using Wingardium Leviosa on your opponent, would you? So yeah, there ought to be more action.

I've checked. He says the ring has been in his family for ages, but he only mentioned he was descended from the slytherins.

Wow, Goblet, you've got a nice long opinion.

Personally, I think the part about feeling empty after finishing the book should hold true for every fan. That's how I felt, when I finished the book, and realised that I wouldn't be reading any more new Harry Potter books, at least for a very long time.

As for the suspense, I think every Harry Potter book had provided the same kind of unpredictablility... It's all so confusing until it's read the second time.

Regarding the deaths, I do feel that's it's quite sad that so many people had to die. I had braced myself for a good many deaths, but it's still rather emotional to actually see it all happening.

Oh, and Jack Chance was talking about Molly swearing in uppercase... That was just so cool! ;D

And Snape! I had instinctively felt, all along that he was good. Great. My feelings have been justified.

Personally, I find the epilogue rather short. I would have liked it if it was longer... If it covered what happened to all the characters (ie All the Weasleys) and what Harry's been doing for the 19 years...

As Victoire is Bill and Fluer's daughter.  ;D

Wait a minute... I don't remember hearing that anywhere.

Wha... Hmm... Interesting.

But I don't think Voldemort descended from the second brother. The ring just happened to pass into his possession.

Hmm... Why do people get confused? That's so confusing.

Anyway, I'm gonna spell the whole thing out nice and clear, hopefully things will clear up.

Harry used to have TWO protections:

1) Mother's Love Shield
Caused by: Lily Potter's heroic sacrifice
Protection: Voldemort cannot touch Harry
Terminates: Voldemort uses Harry's blood to regenerate

2) Dursley's Home Shield
Caused by: Dumbledore casts a spell when Harry was delivered to the Dursley's
Protection: Harry cannot be harmed while under the Dursley's roof
Terminates: When Harry turns 17

I can't help if you still don't understand :P

Yes, Ginny's right. The protection that ends when Harry becomes an adult is the protection of the Dursley's home. When Harry is at the Dursleys' place, he cannot be harmed by Voldemort. This particular protection terminates when he's 17.

lolz, well asked. I've found it on the Wikipedia page for Movie 6. Link here (what you're looking for is in the very first paragraph): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter_and_the_Half-Blood_Prince_%28film%29

Many theories are plausible, but I personally think that Dumbledore was like, stricken out of his senses by the potion, so it wasn't really him that Harry force-fed the potion. After a while the effects began to wear off, but he was still weak.

I've read somewhere that they've all signed on to do all of the remaining films
