the forbidden forest

one thing i dont understand is why are students allowed to go anywhere any this forest even when its so dangerous.in the first book harry ,hermione,ron and malfoy are given detention to go to this awful forest.harry if it had not being for firenze, the centaur, could have been killed by voldemort.what is the logic behind it i can't understand.

In the RP's you ,mean? Well, I go because I can deal with most anything in there. I also have ties with Aragogs grandson, a pack of wolves and the unicorns. Plus, by using my mind I could pretty much contrule any animal that won't listen to me. Not that many don't. The forest is well, my place. I am tied in with it. Like Kiara has her room?
