he's not dead! jk cant just kill off the one person the means the most to harry! and why would she use a mysterious curtain that no one knows anything about to kill him? and the flash from the spell that hit him was red, not green, so it couldnt have been avada cadavra! i think he'll be back :p

I read on that a site that he isn't dead, he's in another dimension, and soon his two way mirror will work and Harry can talk to him! I belive that!

I also think Sirius isn't dead...but there's a small problem. IF Sirius isn't dead and just fell through the curtain into another dimension, Why didn't Dumbledore tell Harry the Sirius isn't dead? Dumbledore will have to know about the curtain thing.
So what do you think?? :'(

Why HAVE to know? Dumbledore knows many things but he isn't know evrything, in my oppinion

The first time I read the book, I didn't fully registered that he died. i was talking to someone and they were like:
friend: "Hey, did you read the fifth HP book?"
Me: "uhh... yea... so?"
friend: "what'd you think of the death of snuffles?"
Me: "WHAT?!?"
friend: "Uhh... He fell into the curtain-veil thingy..."
Me: "really?!? I gotta go read that part again..."

so I went searchin through the book, looking for the part in the department of mysteries, and I read it again...
when it finally registered that he was dead, there were tears in my eyes.

Or, I wouldn't put it past Dumbledore to NOT tell Harry that he is still alive.  I mean what if he knows he is alive but in order to get him out, they'd have to open up a place where they have put lots of really bad creatures or wizards??
