*Gives an understanding smile as Damion excuses himself and looks over at Ginny with a welcoming smile. She leans back on her chair and throws the fire orb to the roof, glancing over as Ginney leaves and Hermione enters.*

Nope, sorry love.

*Looks above her just in time to perfectly catch the orb in her pale hands. She spins it a few times before settling it on the table beside her and staring lazily into it.*

Sorry I don't either.  Did you check the Gryffendor common room?

*Is laughing so hard he just nods his ok at her*

*she stands, still laughing her lifes worth, and brushes off alll the dirt* I didn`t see that coming...*she giggles, then looks around, quickly pinpointing their exact location: in the arcumantulas den**her smile fades* umm....I think....we`d better get out of here.......Ginnys the only one I know of who can really calm the arcumantulas...we should....go?....*she is stopped in her tracks by one of them, which stands so many feet taller than her, it would be quite easy to step on her, and not feel a thing**she freezes, and then swollows and raises her eyes to meet it`s*

[Damion]

*Grabs Lavender around the waist and allthough, he's burdened by another,m he sees to wisk them out of there with such incredible speed tat the creatures didn't even have tome to think about what was just in their den.*

*after they are completely out, she looks at him with a grin* We couldn`t stay out of trouble if we try...*she laughs, then kisses him lightly on the lips* thanks

[Damion]

*Shocked at her kiss he stares at her for a moment before regaininghis composure*

Ya, trouble and the forest go hand in hand, from what I understand.

*He smiles*

*she flashes him a grin, then steps away from him, heading toward the center of the forest**she begins softly calling out for the sphinx, until he springs out of the brush, prancing about her feet like a playful cat, before he sences Damions presence, and bolts over to him, jumping on him and tackling him to the ground, then simply sitting on his chest and staring down at him curiously, his large head tilted to the side slighty in curiousity, his weight pinning him to the ground*
*she is overcome with a fit of giggles as she watches their staring game, walking over to them**she kneels by them, still giggling furiously, and pushes back a stray strand of Damions hair over his forehead* Told you he`d like you.

[Damion]

*Smiles warmily at teh creature.*

Ya, but he is a bit on the heavy side.

*Smiles at Lavender now, letting his gaze rest shortly on her smile then turns back to the Sphinx.*

Hey fella..

*Reaches out and touches the side of it's head softly*

[_Lavender_]

*the sphinx all but melts under his touch, butting his head into his hand**she smiles, then runs her hand over the sphinxes ears, giving it a soft thought to come off him, which it does, and sits between them, his eyes closed**she laughs and rubs his ears again, then looks up and grins at Damion*

[Damion]

*Sits up and stokes the creatures head almost absently and returns her smile*

Where did you come acoss him?

[_Lavender_]

Well a few weeks ago I was near the town on the other side of the forest, and I saw him being chased by an angry herd of centaurs..well, after I learned he didn`t have a mother....*she shrugs*

[Damion]

*Gives a half laugh then looks at the Sphinx*  

You're a luck one, you know that?

*He then looks at Lavender, still smiling*

[_Lavender_]

*she smiles, then ruffles the young sphinxes fur on the top of hi head, before he runs of, to hunt, as she laaughs* always hungry...*she laughs again*

[Damion]

I know the feeling well...

*Turns and looks out in tothe woods and sighs*

It sure is peacefull out here, wish the whole world could be like this..at peace with everyone, and thing.
