A new age. | A New definition. | A new life.
Hi. My name is â€¢Lavender•

Avril

Welcome tweetie ;D

Tweetie

I wrote the words, 'I tw-at I taw a Puddy Tat' and it changed it to 'I thingy I taw a Puddy Tat' when I posted to you guys.  I've changed the words to 'I tot I taw a Puddy Tat' so it doesn't look so silly.  I think that somehow the word tw-at gets changed like the way the word Voldem0rt gets changed when written correctly.  I'm trying to imitate Tweetie Bird.

I like to write stories, too, but I've been to shy to share them with people!

Kiara Johnson

That was why.  This board changes a lot of words that may be used as bad language such as thingy, when refering to a rooster...C o c k

I'm not a great writer, but I can read. I read 150 words per min. and on those preformance tests? I'm better than 94% of the kids in my grade and age. I'm also the best reader in school. But for some reason, I could never spell. I still can't...hmmm.
My motivation
An oath I've sworn to defend

My dedication
To all that I've sworn to protect
I carry out my orders
With not a regret

Fawkes

I'm a terrible writer but I love to read!
BTW Welcome to HPFF Tweetie!! ;)

Tweetie

Thanks for verifying why my words changed, Kiara!

My sister loves my stories, but she is about the only person who gets to see them.  I don't think I'm a bad writer! :-\ I never thought about that!

Kiara Johnson

You should post one of your stories in here some time, all of you, saying that you like to write but dn't let anyone read them, what's that all about, come on, share with the rest of us.  I know I'd personaly LOVE to read them.. PLEASE..*Puppy face*

well done you can type  :D

do you have any other preferences?  ???

Tweetie

I like to read fantasy books.  I would highly recommend the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Bartemaeus trilogy.  They are really good. :)

I'm thinking about writing fan fiction.  I need to come up with a story first.

Tweety, have you tried The Belgariad by Eddings?  If not, you really should.

Tweetie

No, I have not read that book.  I wrote down the title and I will see if the library has it.  What is it about?

Have you read 'The Amulet of Samarkand' by Jonathan Stroud?  It is the first in the Bartimaeus Trilogy.  It is really funny and has footnotes all throught the book for added humor. ;D  I give it an A+!

Googl, where did you get that picture of Harry in your signature?  Is that a dragon that he is flying from?!

No I have not, but I will check it out.

The Belgariad is a series of books, the first one in the series is:

Book One:  Pawn of prophecy
Book Two;  Queen of Sorcery
Book Three:  Magician's Gambit
Book Four;  Castle of Wizardry
Book Five ; Enchanter's End Game

Then it goes on to the malloreon Series, there are five in that one as well, then you have the final two bbok that are the stories of the main characters of the books.  they are all really well written and very interesting stories.  I have read the whole series now a total of 10 times.  lol
