it was their third year d.a.d.a teacher.  :o
remus lupin.
'p-p-prof. lupin?'hermione gasped.
'y-yes.' he said breathlessly, hermione not noticing
she was choking him. she quickly let go as he turned a
light purple.
'uh....er..i-i- was dressed like this cuz i didn't want
anyone to notcie me.' he said quickly. hermione got
up, and ron and harry joined them, both in pain.
'o, and i'm not prof. lupin, im just remus now.' he added.
'uh...right.' hermione blushed.
they went back to meet the grangers. they looked
again terrified to meet a full wizard, though lupin wasn't
only a wizard. he was also a  werewolf. he shook
their hand jovially. he looked very pale. after that,
they promised to meet the grangers at gringotts at six,
and then they walked around with lupin. they filled
him in with what has been going on, including the
mysterious messages, and their trip in the swamp.
after that, he felt perfectly calm, as thougth relieved.
about what, harry ron and hermione couldn't guess.
'oh, don't worry about that! maybe a cat lover was
playing with him. and maybe the messages is just
from a - a - a friend who cares.' he seemed odd when
he siad this, and then quickly changed the subject to
dinner plates that can float in air while you eat,
so u don't have to bend down. hermione ppointed out
when he was gone that those plates weren't even real,
or at least, she's never heard of them.

they had gone to a lot of muggle places, like the
movies, malls and such, and even to na amusment park.
ron was both fascinated and bored by this, but he was
still having fun. he was now examining muggle money
with mr.granger, who had taken a dissbelieveing
liking to him.
'whats that? is that a-a- ummm...a three?' he asked.
mr granger chuckled ' no, no, thats a fifty.'
mrs granger had also taken a liking to ron, but it was
obvious she liked to hear about harry more.
'so, you fly? on- on broomsticks? thats really amazing.'
mrs granger gushed. harry told her about the different
kinbd of broomsticks in good detail. hermione was
going inbetween conversations, reading, and enjoying
herself. she had even wrote to krum about her summer
without him, and she had got a letter back from him,
which was flowers, a card singing beatifully that said
'i'm misssssing you...' and a two boxes of candies.
ron and harry had helped her with the candy. they had
gone down to a shop to get sum stuff for krum, and ron
bought krum sumthing hisself. that made a lot of
commotion. ron had put sum sickles down on the counter.
'whats this?' the pretty cashier lady asked, surprised.
'uhh.....money.' ron said slowly.
'is this sum kind of joke? do i like look an idiot?' the girl
had snapped.
ron looked as though he was going to say
'heck, no! u look pretty, not an idiot!' but instead he
said 'no to both....uh...' then he had pulled out
some muggle money he had exchanged at gringotts.
he gave it to the girl, grumbling and blushing.
they sent their package of things to krum that night.
sooner then harry liked, they were aboarding the
hogwarts express. they got a compartment to themselves,
and the boys from harry's and ron's dormitory came in,
along with fred and george. fred and george filled ron
in on what had happened at the burrow without him, and
then the quidditch talk began. hermione ha dburied her
face into a book,
when someone opened the compartment door.
'uh, i'm sorry for interupting, i didn't realize how
crowded it was in here.'
a beautiful girl stood there. she had magnificent
red,brown,blonde hair together, and her pretty cheeks
were slightly pink. she was tall, and very skinny.
her eyes had a way of saying sumthing meaningful,
but harry couldn't make it out. she had an accent
that sounded american and ireland mixed together.
it was beautiful, but harry wasn't all that attracted to her.
actually, it was more likely to be ron, dean, seamus,
neville, and even fred and george's eyes poped out of their
heads. she looked as pretty has fleur delacour had,
who was half veela.
'n-n-no, i-its not crowded at all' ron gasped. the girls
eye brows rose, as she took in all the people.
'go, hermione! just for the whole ride, thats all!' all
the boys except harry hissed. harry perfered her to stay,
cuz he knew the boys would do nothing but stare at this
girl. hermione went red and sputtered with anger.
'what?' she snapped.
'go!' ron gave her a soft nudge, and said 'shes gorgeous!'
hermione looked as angry as she had when crookshanks
was blamed for eating scabbers. she got up, grabbed her
things, and left, but made sure her back pack had swung
the girl to push her slightly. the girl looked abashed.
hermione slammed the compartment door behind
her, and the glass shattered.
'reparo!' harry muttered, and he, too, left. he couldn't
see hermione anymore, so he just went into the next
compartment, only to find cho chang and her group
of friends.
'harry!' she looked surprised. the other girls giggled.
'hi harry' one girl said, winking at him.
'hey, harry, maybe you'd like to make up for cedric.
not in looks, but in - well......you know.' another girl
said. cho looked as thoug she may cry, and another of
her friends hit that girl in the arm and then smiled
sweetly at harry as though he hadn't noticed.
'uhh......i guess i'll leave..' he said, wanting to get
away from cho's friends. they were all sixth years,
and some, he noticed, were seventh years.
'o, u don't have to, harry... ' cho said quietly.
so he stayed.
all the girls were giggling and staring at him, moving
closer to him and whispering things in his ear loudly
so that the other girls could hear. cho was sitting beside
him, and her friends kept pushing them together.
they were telling harry sum things about cho,
which made her blush and harry blush.
one girl on the opposite side of him touched his
arm and said 'if theres another ball this year, will u go
with me?' she looked tall, and she was one of those
seventh years. harry stuttered, and the other girls glared
at her. except cho. she didn't seeme to care.she just
looked away.
'no, harry wants to go with me!' one said. she smiled
at harry. actually, she was pretty, and he would
go with her if cho said no.
'um...actually...' harry tried to say, but then, one girl,
probably the only girl besides cho who wasn't
gushing all over him said loudly which made the girls
freeze.
'harry, u went with parvati last year, right? who did
u really want to go with? who did u aks first? cuz i think
u should try her again this year.' this girl said. he knew
she was cho's best friend. they were always together.
'uh....i - i..asked...uh..' he turned as scarlet as the
hogwarts express. luckily, to his great liking, crookshanks
jumped up on him.
'crookshanks!' hermione called. she ran through the door,
then said, rather snappily,
'o, so sorry i interupted, i guess i should've realized
your not the only boy flirting with pretty girls older
than himself!' she picked up crookshanks, who bit her,
and then left.

the girls stared at hermiones back, then at harry.
'o, you just wanted to flrit with us, u knew we were in
this compartment all along?' cho whispered.
'uh-  no, cho, she just thinks that bcuz - '
'whata jerk!' her best friend snapped. cho looked
sad, then she got up and left the compartment. the other
girls got angry and push him out.
'no - wait - she - thinks that bcuz - girl - argh! stop!'
but they wouldn't listen to him. harry got thrown to the
ground, and he shook his fist at their backs.
the hogwarts express came to a stop, and harry got
out, trying to spot cho to explain to her.
harry got stuck in a carriage with ginny weasley
who had a crush on harry, and the creevy brothers,
who were squealing with happiness. the brothers
were talking to him, and ginny was blushing.
it seemed like forever to get to the castle, but they
finally did. it seemed to take ages.
they had a surprise from the sorting ceremony.
there were some new people from durmstrang,
and plus the pretty girl. a lot of guys were staring at her,
like they had with fleur. they were done the first year
sorting, then they did the newcomers sorting.
'Brotferd, Louis!'
GRYFFINDOR!
he walked to the table. he sat besdie ginny, and started
talking to her with intrest. she caught harry's
eye, and waved, turning red again. Louis looked
disgruntled at suddenly being ignored, but then she told
him sumthing, and he nodded, smiling and looking
relieaved.
"they must be friends already" harry thought.
they called sum more names, then they called the girl
with the cool accent.
',mckinnon, emily!!'
she sat upon the stool. the hat was on her head for awhile.
a lot of guys were praying that she would be in their house,
including ron. hermione was sitting away from them,
by herself. finally, the hat shouted -
