Well, a DVD's quite different, for one, I know a CD-R holds up to 750MB while a DVD+R can hold up to 9+GB! That's a BIG difference.

hmm, I do think I know wht you are talking about, but I hvae never heard of the HP movies on them.....

0612

I have the HP-SS and HP-COS on VCD (three discs each).

Well, it's actually different. For example, COS only uses 2 DVDs with lots of added extras, while it uses 3 VCDs with no extras, it's basically the huge difference in storage capacity.

Em

yeah, i have figured that much out myself..... but I have SS on VHS and COF on DVD and I will probably get POA on VHS.....

I have both Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets in 2 Disk DVDs.  I never heard of VCD.  I've heard of VHS, which is basically a video tape.  I'll probably get Prisoner of Azkaban on DVD.  I like DVDs because they can hold all of the bonus features and games.  I especially like deleted scenes and interviews with the cast and crew.  What is your favorite feature in the bonus features? :)

Em

0612

I'd personally prefer interviews, yeah.
Oh, I seriously discourage VHS because there are a lot more ways to destroy a VHS than a VCD/DVD. Really.

Hmmm... Let's see. For a VHS tape, it could:

1) Get fungus
2) Get caught in your VCR and snap
3) Lose film quality as it ages
4) Destroy your VCR because of a wrong tape material (it has happened to me twice. Really, it's frustrating.)
5) Get sat on and broken into two

Yeah... and as for a VCD/DVD, it could:
1) Get scratches or fingerprints
2) Get sat on and snapped into two
3) Kill your computer's CD drive

That's it for me... Yeah  ;D

Em

lol, I am gonna buy all of the movies full screen DVD's someday......

0612

Cool. I wanted the extras for computer, but then my comp CD Drive didn't understand DVDs... Sheesh... and my dad wouldn't even buy a DVD reader when he deleted the driver (and therefore indirectly killed) the previous disc drive...
