looking in the three broomsticks for the first time

Ya ive just been the under dog in the family.I dont get mentioned a lot.*He smiles and says*But ive gotten used to it.

Kiara gave a small shrug and then giggled slightly.

"Ya, well, Ron has never been much of one to talk about his family unless you're my brother, of course, and besides, I still think your mum doesn't trust me, can't blame her but..."  She trailed off and closed her mouth and then took a drink from her bottle.

"Sorry, tend to ramble sometimes."  She told him.

You haven't happened to see a guy, tall, spiky hair, ice blue eyes, wandering about have you?"  She asked all of them, not noticing Lav curled up above her yet.

Nope he said.Why you need to know. He said looking at her as he took a drink from his butterbeer.*

Kiara smiled.  "Oh, nothing really, just haven't seen him all day is all."  She replied.

She was, of course, looking for Max, as usual, he always seemed to disappear, she had her suspicions that Fudge kept pulling him away, but still, she had to try and ask about.

"So, what year are you in?" She asked him then.

Im in my fourth year.*He looked down at his watch*

Kiara smiled again.  "Fourth year?  Well, seeing as how I did not arrive until my 5th, I cannot compare, though I will tell you, your next few years will be great.  I hope you like it here."  She replied, and then noticed him looking at his watch.

"I am sorry, am I keeping you from something?"  She asked.

*He looked back up at her*Oh no i just have detention in about two hours.

She cringed.  "Ouch, with who?  If you don't mind me asking."  She asked then stated.  "I hope it isn't Snape."  She finished, her emerald eyes looking pained at the thought.

*He gave her a smirk and said*Well it is Snape.It always is.

[Kiara Johnson]

She laughed slightly, he was, after all right, if you were not a Slytherin, unless your name happened to be Kiara and Max, it was ALWAYS Snape.

"I am so sorry, I'd offer to help if I could, but Snape isn't particularly fond of me either."  She responded with a hint of a cringe in her tone.

Kiara liked talking to Josh, unless she was mistaken, he didn't really know who she was and what she was, perhaps all the stories had not reached everyone in the school, perhaps, but then again, he might have just been being polite.

*He just sat there.He took another drink of his butterbeer and it was gone*He was about to start on his other one but then he said to Kiara.*You want it?

Kiara looked at her own, still half full then smiled at Josh.  "No, no thanks, I still have to finish the one I've got."  She replied with the smile lighting her whole face.

"Tell me, Josh, do you like to fly?"  She asked.

*He looked down and said*Ya i tried out for Quiditch but i didnt make it.

Once again, Kiara flashed him that soft smile of hers.  "I thought I smelt the wind about you..." She said offhand.  "Ya?  Well its ok, I love to fly too, though, I usually don't use a broom. Quidditch is great fun, but I will never be as good as Harry, so, I just have never gone out for the Slytherin team."  She replied, taking a draw once again from her bottle.
