     Just then Harry noticed something..."Emily! Your bleeding!"   She pulled up her sleeve and there was a deep cut in her arm in the shape of a 'V'.  Harry looked at her, they all did.  "Is tha-that a 'V'?" she said.  "Y-Yah!"  Harry replied...outta know where she fainted.  "Come on we have to tell Dumbledore!"  Harry said.  He ran up to the staff table, "Professor Dumbledore, we need you to see this!"  They got up and showed him Emily's arm.  Everyone in the Hall was silent and watching.  "Take her to the hospital wing, I'll be there momentaraly."  Hermione and Harry carried her there, with Ron helping too.  
     About five minutes later, Professor Dumbledore appered.  Madam Pomfrey was bustling around, and Emily was awake.  She looked up at Dumbledore, "Professor, I had nothing to do with this I swear!  It was there when I woke up and -"  
"My dear, calm down.  I didn't expect you at all.  Now, what happened?"  He said looking at the four of them.  "They didn't do anything." she said.  Emily took a deep breath and began, "The other day at Hagrid's, we, well, I found a puppy that turned into a warewolf.  Well, it's only a baby, and we have a connection.  Anyway, I went to visit him last night, and fell asleep.  Hagrid found me and put me in his house for the night."  
"I see," he said,  "Is there anything else?"
"Well, I didn't know if it was a dream or not, I hardly remember it..."
"What is it?"  he asked.  "Well, I think this is what happened.  I saw a bunch of ppl come out of the woods. One was infront, he looked at me, took a knife and did this." she said pointing at her arm.  "Then, they laughed, but they heard someone comming, so they left.  I don't know if that's a dream or not."  Harry looked at Dumbledore who's face was very stern.  "Thank you, I must go, I must wourk this out..."  then he turned and left.

"Oh, so I can do my job now I guess?!"  Madam Ponfrey scowled.  "You kids, always getting into trouble, specially you four!"  she snaped.  After that they walked out of the wing.  "We need to see Hagrid!"  Harry said.  They ran down the sloping frost covered grounds.  "Hagrid, it's us open up!"  Harry said knocking.  Hagrid opened the door.  "C'mon 'n  i wasn' spectin  company." he siad.  They walked in and sat down,  "Al righ' Harry? Emily?  ROn? Hermione?"  
"We need to talk about last night," Harry said.  "Ok."
"Hagrid, did you see anyone when you found me last night?" Emily asked.  "Lemy think,  aaahhhh, nope saw some stirin' in the tree's but they always do that," he said.  They told him about Emily's cut and what she 'saw'.   "WELL THA'S AWFUL!!"  he boomed.  "Hagrid, where's curly?"  EMily said suddenly.  "He's  in his cage..."  
"No, he's not!"  she ran outside, "Curly? Curly? He's not here!" Harry , Ron, Hermione and Hagrid ran out after her.  "But I didn't even open the cage last night!"  Emily said.

"An' he was here this mornin," Hagrid stated.  "I went to see Professor Sprout earlier though."   "He's only a baby!"  Emily and Hagrid said together.  After serching for a while, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Emily went back up to the castle.  Hedwig was waiting for Harry in the common room.  He ran over and untied the letter and gave her a piece of cookie Ron was eating. the letter read:
                       Dear Harry,
                              Dumbledore has already written   a      letter.  Becareful, don't go anywhere after dark, got it!  Give my best to Emily, Ron, and Hermione.  P.S. Beaky's fine

"Ron, get me som parchment will ya? Em, can u get me a quill please?" Harry sat down and wrote:
                        Dear Sirius,
                               I've still been having those dreams.  And today, well last night, Emily went to visit and animal of Hagrid's.  She fell asleep, and some people took a knife and cut a 'V' in her arm! She's okay, tell beaky hi for me.
                              Harry

Harry tied the letter back on to Hedwig, and she left.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN
REMUS LUPIN

      The weeks went by, and Harry was still having those dreams.  The school of Hogwarts still didn't have a defence against the dark arts teacher.  The days were getting shorter and colder. Harry woke up one morning suddenly. THe grounds were covered in a thick layer of glisting snow.  He walked down the stairs to the common room.  NO one was there, he passed out of the portrait hole. and walked down the the great hall.  There he saw Ron arguing with Hermione about god knows what and Emily sitting close by not talking to anyone. She looked as though she were writing something. Harry made his way over to her. "Morning!" he said, she jumped in her seat and closed the note book she was writing in. "Oh, uh...morning Harry," she said sounding a little scared, she looked really tired as well.  "R u ok?" he asked. "Huh? o um..ya I"m fine," she replied. At the moment, Neville dropped his spoon, and she jumped even higher clutching her arm looking around.  "Emily, is your arm still hurting you?" Harry asked.  "No, I just didn't get any sleep last night. I drank coffee the whole night!" she said. "WHY?!"
"Because, he's gonna get me, and you! I sat outside you door last night ya know!"  
"Emily, why did you do that?!"
"Harry, wake up! Voldimort's comming, and he's comming to kill me, Siruis, Ron, Hermione, and anyone else that get's in his way infront of you. I've gotta go..." she said shortly.  Harry watched as she left.  "MOrning Harry!" ROn said as he sat down.  Hermione kissed him on the cheek, "what a lovely morining right Em?"  she said, "Em? Emily? Where did she go now?"  
"I don't know.." ROn said frowning slightly. After breakfast, Harry, Hermione and Ron had a snowball fight who were later joined by Seamus, Dean, Fred, and George. After throwing one or two, Harry looked up. Emily was dashing out of the Forbidden Forest and into Hagrid's Hut.
