 Chapter 5
The New Quidditch Captain

 Harry Ron, and Hermione were walking back to the common room, when they saw a familair face. It was Oliver Wood, the keeper and captain of last years qudditch team.  Last year was his last at Hogwarts, 'so, what was he doing here?' Harry thought. "Harry! How r ya doing? Ron, Hermione,"Oliver said nodding to them and smiling. "Oliver," asked Harry in Shock,"what r u doing here?" "Well, tommorrw I'll pick the new captain and new keeper for the Gryffindor team," he said. "really!" said ron, "What time tommorrow?" he asked excitingly. "7:00 at the quidditch feild. well, gotta see Mcgonagall see ya!" he said. "Harry, I'm gonna try out for keeper  tommorrw!" Ron said. "That's a great idea!" Harry said. Looking at Ron's face, Hermione could tellwhat he was about to say, but he didn't know how. "Harry, u should let Ron borrow ur firebolt tomaorrw." she said. Ron looking greatful that she said it, looked at Harry. "Ok, u'll get it 4 sure than!"harry said smiling. They headed gor the common room, talking all the way.
       The next day day came and night fell. Harry and Ron walked down to the Quidditch feild. Oliver was already there, setting up and getting the quidditch balls out. The rest of the team was already there, "Hey Harry!" said wood. "HEy Ron, u trying out?"  
"yep! said Ron grinning, more and more ppl came down to try out, as well as, " HERMIONE!" said Ron in shock. "Calm down, i came to watch."

 Oliver was now calling people to try out for new team keeper, every time, he came out disapointed. Then it was ROn's turn, he mounted Harry's fire bolt and was off. By the time he came down, Oliver looked as if he had never seen anything like it. " That was BRILLIANT!!" hesaid " U didn't miss a single one!, Gryffindors, we found u a new keeper, Ron Weasley!" Said Oliver Beaming at him. Fred,George,Harry,Ron and Hermione were jumping up and down all together. " Can i see all of the team in the locker room please!" Wood shouted. When everyone was in there and settled, Wood was pacing around the room. Every one could tell he was gonna give another speach. " what happened? This isn't like u! Ur never lost for words!" said Fred, everyone laughed. "Now, even though i'm not in school this year, doesn't mean that any thing will change. U will still work hard, with a team like this, u'll never loose!" "Where have we heard that before?" George said smiling. "Now, ur new captain was very hard ot pick, But he or she won't be a slacker! They will work this team in to shape. Now the captain of the reserve team that I'm on, gave me permission to take time out of work, and check up on u guys, and show u some major league moves. so now, we have a keeper, and i'd like him to present him with something," said wood. Ron was looking very con fused. Oliver had handed  a slim box to Ron. He opened it, and inside was afirebolt.
      "But, how did u...why did u...." said Ron suttering.
"my reserve team got 8 instead of 7 on accident."
"How can I ever," Ron said weakly.  " Just go out ther, and win that d*** cup for Gryffindor."
" And we'll win it in ur name wood!" shouted Harry. "HERE, HERE!" the team cheared.  Wood's eyes were watering now, everyone was sad to see him go.
" Ok, any way, I want to introduce ur new captain,"

more of chapter five... oliver was introducing the now captain...
             
           "Ok, any way, I want to introdue ur new captian."
             The whole team ran out on the feild, Harry yelling," I'M CAPTAIN, I'M CAPTAIN! WOOD MADE ME CAPTAIN!" Harry and Ron ran over to Hermione and told her everyhting. But thay heard Wood speek again. "First quiddtich practice is when Harry?" Oliver said smiling. Everyone looked at him. "Um...uh.. this Friday, we start early this year!" he said. "SEE WHY I CHOSE HIM!" Oliver called. Harry, Ron, and Hermione walked back to the castle with the rest of the team.
            Once they had reached the common room, the whole room explodied. Cheers to Harry and Ron were being said by every Gryffindor. Ron was sitting on the floor in front of the fire, his new firebolt in front of him. He sat there for ten mins., just staring. Then, " I can't believe it! I own a firebolt!! YES!" he shouted smiling. Harry and Hermione, (who were playing chess) looked over at him and grinned. "Hey Harry, do u hear that?" Hermione asked. "ya, it sounds like...."
"Hedwig!" said Harry. He rushed ofver to the window and picked her up. She was weak and tired. Harry gave her some bacon flavored Berttie Bott's Beans, and put her in his bed to rest. Harry ran down stairs to the common room, a letter in his hand. He, Ron, and Hermione went in to a corner to read it.
              Dear Harry,
                       How r u? Sorry, but the trip wore Hedwig out, so I let her stay here till she was stong. Harry, don't say htings like that! I know u don't like ur cousin and uncle, but never say u want to kill them. Any way, once we find wormtail, we'll turn him in. Then u can come live with me. Hope Ron and Hermione r ok. next week I'll be in Hogsmade. Can u meet me out side of honeydukes? Send another owl with a reply.
                           Sirius
          " Ron" said Harry looking at him. "ya?" he replied.
"Do u think we could use pig? Hedwigs not health enough," Harry said. " Sure, hold on I'll get some parchment."  "Harry, why did u say u wanted to kill ur cousimn and uncle?" Hermione asked sternly. Ron came back and Harry expalined the whole ordeal. "Hec, I'd wanna kill em too!" said Ron. Hermione shot a ' how could u say that' look. Harry took a peice of parchment and quill and started writting to sirius.
       Dear Sirius,
                 I didn't really mean that, I was just mad. We'll meet u out side Honeydukes as soon as we get there.
"Harry," said Ron,"don't forget to tell him about tonight!" "Oh ya!" he said. U'll never guess what happened tonight! I'm captain of the quidditch team! oh, and Ron's the new keeper! Well, we'll see u there. Bye

      Harry, Ron, and Hermione got up and Harry tied the letter to Pig's leg. as the night when on, Harry and Hermione played against Ron in a game of chess, Ron still won. The common room emptyed little by litte, and by 11:30, Harry, Ron, and Hermione went to bed.
The next morning, they walked down to breakfast together. Harry and Hermione were poking and tickling eathother. Ron was looking in shock at the both of them. "Will u 2 stop flirting, I'm gonna hurl!" "We're not flirting!" Hermione said. after they ate breakfast, Ron pulled out his shedual. "AAHHH NO! We have douvle potions with Slythern!" "No way!" Harry pulled out his shedual too. "Great! Now I'm gonna get another zero!"
          They walked down in to the dungones, and there was Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, and Pansy were waiting. Malfoy and Pansy weren't going out, but she stood very close. "Oh look, Potty and his Mudblood girlfriend," he said smirking. "Whatch it Malfoy!" Ron said gritting his teeth. Malfoy turned his attention to Ron. " Well, well, why don't u just shut up and shine my shoes." " I don't have to!" "Yes u do," a cold voice came from down the corridor. "Weasley, that's ur detention," Snape said. "Now get on ur knees and polish Mr. Malfoy's shoes." ORn got down and did it, mumbling bad words under his breath. They all got in to class, and PRo. Sanpe started off with roll call. Harry and Hermione were partners in making their Flower Potion.
* a poison that tastes like a summer flower drink, but paralizes the drinker* Pro. Snape pared Malfoy and Ron together. He finnished Malfoy's, but ROn only got half of his done. When potions were done, they walked down to the green houses for Herbololigy. "ANOTHER ZERO!"Ron screamed.

CHAPTER 6
NEW STUDENTS

"Today, we're still working on paraphents! So, greenhouse three!" anounced Pro. Sprout. After repotting the paraphents, and sending Ernie MacMillian to the hospital wing, it was time for lunch. After a quick lunch, they headed back out side for Hagrid's. He had prepared centures to come and talk to the class from the forrest. Harry, and Ron left Hermione, and headed for diviation. Pro. Trelawny said that the stars were lined up in a percular way, and that some one die. She looked at Harry and her eyes teared up. Harry rolled his eyes and ron laughed. But Pavarti and Lavender were looking interested and intrigued.
         After another 10 announcements that Harry would die, they left. Harry and Ron joined up w/ Hermione and told her.  "Honestly.."she said annoyed. Pro.Mcgonagall gave them their grades for the rabbits, and taughut them how to change them back. "Good, dinner!" HErmione said. As they walked in to the Great Hall, they saw three studeants they had never seen before. One was tall with brown hair, another woth blonde, and the thrid had reddish, blondish brown. Harry, Ron, and Hermione walked over. "Hi, I'm Harry Potter," he said, 2 of the girls looked shocked and couldn't reply. "HEy, I'm Ron Weasley," "and I'm Hermione Granger." The two girls still were still shocked. THe third replied, " Hi, I'm Emily McKinley. We just transferred, I lived in the U.S. but my school was in Ireland." "Wow, Ireland" Hermione said. "Yah, I'm all Irish, though I don't have an accent. Oh, this is Meagan Tavares, she's in her seventh year." she said pointing to the tall brown haired girl. "And this is Brittany Henry, she's also a fifth year." "HI" they said to the girls. They still weren't talking. Ron was about to say something, but then, " Hello, I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy," emily giggled. "Malfoy, we were talking here!" Ron said. "Shut up Weasley, ur to poor to deserve riches as her!" he said. Emily instead of taking that as a compliment said, "Excuse me, but that was really rude! U should apologize." "I'm not apologizing my dear!" he said smiling. He pushed Hermione out of the way,"Move mudblood!" he said.Harry and Ron were pulling out thier wand when Emily said, "What did u call her? Hey, do u think ur better just cuz ur pureblooded? Well, my dad's a muggle, and so is my mum. My brother and i r wizards and witches." she pulled out her wand pointing at him. "Now, apologize, to both of them now!" she said. "Sorry," he mumbled. Brittany finally talked, "Hey, u shouldn't talk to him like that! He's right, she is a mudblood!" Malfoy smiled at her and whispered somthing in her ear, she laughed.
           " U didn't have to do that." said Hermione. "I'm just sick of being teased all the time, I know how it feels." ROn was looking at her in shock. "well, thanks," Harry said. "No problem!"  Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat down at the Gryffindor table. Pro.Dumbledore got up and said," We ahve three transfers, that need to be sorted." Pro. McGonagall piked up the roll of parchment. "Now when I call ur name, sit on the stool please, Henry, Brittany." Brittany was a little scared and was shaking slightly. "SLYTHEREN!" the hat screamed. "Tavares, Meagan.." Meagan rushed up there sat on the stool and jammed the hat on her head. "GRYFFINDOR!" shouted the hat, the table burst in to cheers. "McKinley, Emily" she walked up ther casually like it was no big deal. the hat barley touched her head when it screamed"GRYFFINDOR!"
            Again the table burst into cheers, "YES!" Ron said, Harry and Hermione looked at him."What?!" She walked over and Ron said, "U can sit here!" She sat in between Ron and Hermione. The plates magiclly filled up as usual. "Wow!" she said, "As many places as I've lived, I've neverseen this!" "What do u mean?" Harry asked. "Well, my dad's a major in the muggle army, so we've moved alot. My brother's in Gryffindor too, seventh year." "Well, how come he wasn't sorted today?" Hermione asked. "He got sorted by Dumbledore alone last night. He's sitting over there next to the twins. They're his best friends now." "hey, that's Fred and George! Those r my brothers!" Ron said. "Really? Cool." she said smiling. "Harry, do u like to read?"
"Um...no, not really do u?" "O yes! I read all my school books over here, plus Hogwarts, a History." she said.
"Really? wow me too!" shaid Hermione. when dinner was over, they were walking out of the Great Hall when they saw Malfoy and brittany kissing. all four of them laughed, and they showed Emily the way.

CHAPTER SEVEN
THE UNEXPECTED RELATIVE

          "Oh wow! wicked!" Emily said as they walked onto the common room. "So, Emily, what places have u lived?" Hermione asked. "Well, I was born in Monteray California, then we went to  Sandiego California. After that we moved to Arkansas, Louisiana, Saudi Arabia, then Buzbach Germany, Parzberg germany, then the us again. That's when i got my letter to the other school, but my dad was stationed in England, so i transfered."
"Wicked!" Ron said, she smiled at him. "There's my brother, Hey Ryan!" she called. He came over, 'they didn't look like brother and sister.' Harry thought. He had very dark brown hair, almost black, and green eyes. And she had reddish, blondish, brown hair, and bright blue eyes. "Whay's up Em? oh, this is Fred and George Weasley." "Ryan, this is Ron Weaslwy, Hermione Granger, and Harry Potter." "Hi guys!" Fred and George came over, "I've seen u've met our little brother!" said george. "Ryan has some great inventions! He's gonna help us with the shop!" Fred told them. "Well, got to go, we have to try out our Fizbang drink, see ya!" all three walked away.
           Then, the conversation took a weird turn. "Do u guys like sirius Balck?" Emily asked. Harry, Ron and Hermione looked at eachother nervously. "No why?" said Harry. "Oh, then maybe I shouldn't tell u this," she said. "No, tell us what?" he said. " Well, my uncle was best friends with him. He and I r really close. I always visited him in azkaban, thank god he got out!" she said.
"Who's ur uncle Emily?" Harry asked. "Oh, he died along with my aunt, I had a cousin, but I've never met him before. My parents didn't tell us alot cuz my mom cries when she thinks of him." Harry, Ron and Hermione were looking at her in pure shock. "Was his name James Potter?" Harry asked slowly. "Ya, how did u know?" she said. "Emily, u know that cousin u never met? That's me!" Harry said slowly. Emily laughed, " That's funny Harry! Oh, ur being serious." she said looking at his face. "what's ur aunts name? Lily?" "Ya!, that;s really wierd."  "I can't believe this!" Hermione scwelled.
