Who is the the Half Blood prince?

The only thing everybody knows about the Half Blood Prince is that it is the name of the 6th book. Post who you think is the HBP and\or what purpose he serves in the 6th book. (NOTE TO EVERYONE: THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE IS NOT HARRY OR VOLDEMORT.)

maybe itll b kinda lik it was in the second one where it was sort of ginnys fault cos she found the diary and all like the half blood prince will be somebody totally unexpected

Whoever is the half-blood prince, it is going to completly unexpected, at least that is what I think. But we shall find out very soon! :)

But yet so close, so cheer up! We have plenty of time to read all 5 other books over to refresh our minds and watch the movies again! Just something to do while the long wait for the next book!
