"They've always been like that. They love to kill humans."

"Well it really depends on the crime. Say you came in the middle of the night to hunt or speak with somone without permission. Well then, since that is a small crime, they would simply beat you and then let you go. But if tey belive your trying to ruin someones reputaion well them,not only will they beat you, they will let a rear fish slowly eat you. It takes weeks to finish and wile it's eatng you he merpeople will contiuning beating you, and other things. But if they would have found you gulity of killing one of them, they will let a tiny animal,no biger then your finger nail eat you from the inside out. That takes months even years to complety."
