Mad Eye Moody was definately the best teacher.
The bouncing ferret was one of the best scenes of book 4.

Even though he was a Death Eater he acted really cool.

Dumbledore? I dont reckon he ever thought anybody in one of the books, except share memories with harry. That doesen't qualify for a teacher. And Filch? Yea, he is cool, but also no teacher.
