Neo paused, stung by what she had said. He had hoped that she would understand he meant no harm in what he had said, but obviously she hadn't. Most of him wanted to walk up to her and apologize completly, but another part of him wanted to pull out his wand and jinx her, so he stood there contemplating what he should do, not at all knowing which part of himself to listen to. He heard Lavy say something in support of him, and this made him decide to do neither, but to just find a place to sit away from Ginny but where he could keep an eye on her if she tried to do anything to him. "Forget it Lavy, lets just sit down somewhere" Neo said, and walked to the opposite side of the seats.

Ginny wouldn't jinx him. She didn't jinx her friends. But she felt like it. She stared straight ahead. So many tried to say things about how she felt or acted. But they knew nothing about how she felt.
