[Xaver]

Xaver slowed to a stop, looked up at her, and applied a false smile to his lips. He let it fall, however, knowing it wouldn't fool her.
"Nothing," he said simply.

[Ginny Weasly]

"Xaver, your as bad a liar as me." She said, walking back up the steps so she stood one step lower then him.

[Xaver]

"Maybe so. But I'm just as stubborn."
Xaver shifted slightly, but kept her eyes.

[Ginny Weasly]

"I can't make you tell me, and I've learned that searching a persons brain to find out what I want isn't right, but as you were there for me, I'm here for you." She said, grasping one of his hands in both of hers.
"It goes both ways, Xaver."

[Xaver]

Xaver stared at her, then offered a half-smile, a little more normal this time.
"Kylie wants to go back, but I don't know why she would want to. She knows I would be able to her her things singularly. But she knows I can't stop her."

Xaver sighed.
"I don't want to go back there. Seriously. I don't want to deal with some strings I left unfinished."

He smiled, though it was false, and bitter.
"And just a few seconds ago, I got a little 'ol mental ring from my brother. Guess who decided to stop by to meet us when we get there?"

[Ginny Weasly]

"I can cancel my meeting, if you want." She said, smiling. It was true, all she had to do was press a button.

[Xaver]

Xaver stared at her for a moment, but shook his head.
He wanted her company, but he wasn't so sure about taking her to his realm.
"You couldn't do that. Besides, canceling a meeting on my behalf would only make them dislike me more."
He grinned slightly, though it faded quickly.

[Ginny Weasly]

"They don't need to know why." She said, truthfully.
"Kylie wouldn't mind, and I can hold my own."

[Xaver]

"Kylie never minds. So long as she has candy, she'll be resolutely happy. And happier to show you every freaking thing in her room," he said. He chuckled softly.

"And I know you can. But I don't want you to have to."

He paused, thinking for a moment.
"If we can, I think avoiding my brother will be the best solution. He's more of a problem than he's worth."

[Ginny Weasly]

"I'm comming then." She insisted,watching him.

[Xaver]

Xaver watched her for a moment, then nodded.
"Fine," he said.
He shook his head.
"It will be more than pleasant to have you along," he admitted. "And you could do nothing but help."

Xaver smiled a bit, and squeezed her hand, which he had never exactly let go of.

[Ginny Weasly]

She smiled.
"Good, that makes me feel better." She said, turning and pulling him down the steps so they could eat breakfeast then leave.

[Xaver]

Xaver grinned slightly, and allowed himself to be pulled, his stomach rumbling absently.
"Kylie will still be asleep," he said randomly. "She usually sleeps until she is awakened or until noon."

[Ginny Weasly]

"I used to do that. Drove my Mum nuts." She said, as they steped into the hall.

He smirked, then tugged her hand, and pulled her down with him onto an empty place at the Gryffindor table.
