secrets can kill

Lavy lifted her head from the mossy, wet ground. There was blood everywhere. Some of it was hers, some of it wasn't. Yet another night of murder.

She sat up slowly and checked for any broken bones. None this time around, which was lucky considering the beating she had willing and unknowingly walked into. She had to get in the school before whoever had attacked her came back. She had just pulled up her hood when she heard footsteps.

[Ginny Weasly]

Ginny was walking alone, not on patrol, just taking a walk to stay awake. She looked like normal; pretty, overworked, and tired. She swung her arms slightly, and looked at the sky.

She missed so many people, it wasn't even funny.

She paused, smelling something familer. She knew the sent of blood well, and walked towards it, her manner changed. She crept almost quietly now, but purposly making her footsteps loud.

Lavy's first reaction was to strike but something about the footsteps made her stop. She knew them well.

"Ginny?" she asked in a horse, broken voice.

[Ginny Weasly]

Ginny stopped, looking into the shadows, before seeing Lavy.
"yeah...what's going on?"

[LavyBrown]

Lavy pushed herself up off the ground with an effort. She was hunched over slightly from the pain.
"I don't know yet, but it can't be good." she walked over to Ginny.

[Ginny Weasly]

She frowned, disliking the stench of blood. She looked at Lavy and sighed.
"C'mon, let's go get you fixed up."

"Thanks, I really am a mess aren't I?"

[Ginny Weasly]

"yeah, a bit." She shrugged, took Lavy's arm, and started walking towards the school.

[LavyBrown]

"Sorry about the blood. I know you're not the biggest fan of the smell."

[Ginny Weasly]

"Right." Ginny said, nodding. She looked towards the school, and for a brief moment, wished she was still a student. Warm and cozy in bed, her only care would be the big test the next day. She sighed and wiped that thought from her head.

"You miss school." Lavy said and then realized she should stay out of Ginny's thoughts. "Sorry, I didn't mean to listen."

[Ginny Weasly]

"I should have guarded my thoughts any way." Ginny said, softly, before nodding.

"But yeah. I do miss school."

[LavyBrown]

Lavy stood up striaght and only leaned on Ginny a little as they kept walking. "So how have you been?"

[Ginny Weasly]

"Same."Ginny said, unconversationally.

"Suprise, suprise." she said dully.
