Harry and Voldemort both descended from the Perevell brothers. Harry the third one, Ignotus, and Voldemort the second one, who made the Resurrection stone. Therefore, that makes them cousins, a million times removed. XDDDDD

Wha... Hmm... Interesting.

But I don't think Voldemort descended from the second brother. The ring just happened to pass into his possession.

na uh. Remember how Marvolo Riddle (Voldy's grandpa) said how his ring bears the "Perevell Coat of Arms" (which is really the Deathly Hallows symbol) and that he's a direct descendent?

I've checked. He says the ring has been in his family for ages, but he only mentioned he was descended from the slytherins.
