Devon McGonagall is a well built young man, relatively muscular with long black hair thats usually tied into a ponytail that hangs pretty far down his back. He has incredably light blue eyes and usually is well dressed. It is hard to find him at any point in time where he is dressed sloppily, the only time that may be is after a long practice of Quidditch or an equally long game of Quidditch, and even then he seems to have a certain air of style.

Personality:

Like so many people Devon had lost loved ones in the war against 'he who must not be named', but unlike many people he doesn't flinch at the name, nor does he back off saying the name Voldemort. He has a reckless side, which is really well shown in a Quidditch game, were he spends more time off his broom flying through the air then on it. He, like his aunt, is a staunch supporter of Albus Dumbledore, and also like his aunt, will support the headmaster of Hogwarts to his last breath. Why? because he knows its the right thing to do.

Family:

McGonagall family, For the most part he doesnt know much of his family with the exception of his aunt who he met for the first time while accompanying the members of the Durstang school to Hogwarts in his fourth year. He knew of her, and he had written her on a couple of occasions, but till then he hadnt met any member of his family. He was 3 years old when he was adopted by a squib family in the final days of the war against Voldemort, after his mother was killed and his father disappeared, believed to be one of the followers of Voldemort who couldn't bring himself to kill his pure blood son.

Devon is, much like Harry, a victim of the war against voldemort. His mother was a sister of Minerva McGonagall and his father, an influential man in the ministry of magic in Brittain. However, Voldemorte had gotten to his father and drawn him over to the dark side of magic. Towards the end of the war, his betrayal had been found out and his wife was to turn him in soon, she tried to do that in secret but she couldn't and he found out. He had no qualms at killing her as she openly fought against the dark lord, however when it came time to kill Devon he found he could not.

Instead he sent an owl to Minerva and fled into the country-side, his were-a-bouts are still unknown, however it is believed that he has returned to Voldemorte. Either that or he has long since joined his wife in death. After Devon was recovered by Minerva, he was sent to live with a Squib family in canada, where he grew up knowing what happened to his mother and what happened during those terrible times. He has long since sworn his revenge on his father, and on the dark lord himself if he can get the chance.

Devon has spent the greater portion of his years in north america, living not far from the border in canada. He then went to school at the North American Academy of witchcraft, just outside of Salem New York, in the United states. He learned how to play quidditch on the local scene and in his third year was invited to be an exchange student to Durmstrang, his year there turned even more interesting when he accompanied the other members of the school to Hogwarts for the tri-wizard tournament.

Devon is pretty old for being in the fifth year, sixteen and turning seventeen just a few months after the new year, but that was mostly due to the tie up he had when he transferred to Durmstang. He should actually be in the sixth year, but he doesnt seem to mind, he is meeting very interesting people and getting to play Quidditch against some of the futures best ever players.
