"Oh.. I didn't plan on bein gone long" Pete said then added softly "I thought I told her we were over" He said. "I didn't mean to make a big scene, its just mean its not like anyone would miss me anyway" Pete added.

"Even if you had told her, I doubt it would've made much of a difference."  Jessie sighed.  She looked up, shocked.  "No one would miss you? How can you truly believe that!? You broke her heart when you left! She could barely walk for days! And talking was almost entirely out of the question!"  She sighed again. She looked down at her feet and then back up at him.  "I'm not going to go into it, I'll leave that to Leah... if she'll even agree to meet you..."

"Prolly not" Pete said. "And I wasn't thinking. I was lost and confused. and just I don't know. I my mind wasn't working right" Pete muttered. "And if? Why if?" Pete asked started feeling bad.

"From what I saw after you left, she might want revenge.  She might want to make you be hurt too.  But, then again, she might want nothing more than to just see you again."  Jessie shrugged.  Leah had been such a basket case after Pete left that she wouldn't even talk about it.  Sometimes she would be sad, and others, she would be furious.  It was just too hard to predict.

"Its not like it didn't hurt me? Do you think I wanted to go?! No I didn't but I had to. I wanted to say bye, but I couldn't! I had no time. They needed me! I have felt terrible ever since. I wasn't even able to write! And do you think she'll believe me? I doubt it. We're prolly over anyway so Maybe I dont even wanna see her?" Pete said raising his voice and let out all his feelings. That he couldn't stand keeping in anymore. Pete looked at Jessie. and thinking she would be mad at him or upset at him. "Jessie I don't mean to take things out on you just I haven't been able to talk to anyone since I left , please forgive me?" He asked

Billie jus took a step back and watched the two.

Jessie sighed.  "Pete, I know it hurt you too.  Leah will forgive you... in time.  She's not one to hold grudges.  But you need to confess to her! Tell her everything that you just told me, and more!  If you can do that... I don't know, maybe... maybe you could convince her to forgive you.  It's always worth a shot for the one's you love, right?" 

She looked at Pete, hoping that he understood.  All he really needed to do was talk to Leah, and they would probably be best friends again.  Dating might take more convincing, but friendship could be close enough.

Pete looked at her. "Well I guess I could try and talk to her.." He said. "But I'm not completely sure if I want to. Yet. But I'll try, and I hope she'll forgive me, if not shes jus another girl I can put in my box" He said.

"Just another girl?" Jessie repeated.  "If that's how you really feel, I don't think she's going to forgive you at all!"

She shrugged and continued. "If you do want to talk to her right now, I can help you find her."

" I mean jus another girl who has broke my heart" Pete said. "Will you help me find her?" He asked.

"She broke your heart?" Jessie rolled her eyes.  "I don't think I can take much more of this!"

She sighed and began to walk away.  If he wanted to come and see Leah, he would follow her.  If not, well that was just too bad.

"Yeah if she doesn't forgive me then it will break my heart" Pete said and watched Jessie walk away then after awhile he decided to follow her.

"Future tense. Will break. Not broken."  Jessie shook her head.  "You're the one who left. Therefore your heart has yet to break."

She walked briskly towards the castle, glancing up at the Gryffindor windows.  She didn't want Leah to see them coming.  It might make her want to run.
