New Quidditch Season ((all welcome))

Blaze saw the girls whispering and looked at them with narrowed eyes. "Come on ladies, we gota get this show on the road. Get into your groups and wait for the others" he said still very stern and serious. He was never any good at telling when someone liked him and he really needed someone to drill it in his brain until he got the message loud and clear. To him Mira was just playing around.

[Sky]

Sky shook her head and gripped her broom nervously. She tryied to hide her nervousness, but it seemed so visable in her eyes. She looked at Blaze. 'Maybe...maybe if I try hard, he'll notice me. Alwell.' She thought to herself. She mounted her broom and hovered into the air. "You may want this, Blaze." She said as she threw the snitch to him. "I was practicing with it. Hope you don't mind."

Blaze smiled at her "Thanks, and not at all. The more you practice the better you get. We have some pretty tough competition with the seeker spot so try your best and really kick some butt out there" he said trying to motivate her.

[Sky]

She nodded. "Well, what are we doing first then?" Sky was anxious. She could feel her heart racing for this contest. She was excited too though.

Albus got into the group with chasers.

Blaze first walked over towards the seeker group, "ok, this is as simple as it gets. First one to catch the snitch wins but remember its not always about if you catch it or not. I'm looking for your flying skills and your eye sight" with that he took a step back and released the snitch Sky had gave him.

Jessie took off with her broom.  She could see the snitch, but as the group flew around her, she lost sight of it.  She flew down under the group, and regained sighting of the snitch.  she flew forward, since she was under the group, no one was in her way, but then the snitch dropped, and the group surrounded her once more, so this time she flew above the group, and urged her broom to fly faster.

Blaze watched the seekers for a bit but then moved onto the chasers. "Ok, now this is also a simple drill that helps chasers a lot in games." he said and held out a round ball. "this is not a quaffle but is as light as one. One person is going to have this ball and try to dodge the other chasers. The other chasers are going to try to get the ball for themselves and keep it away from the rest. At the end the ball will tell me who had the ball for the longest time. I suggest you be that person if you want a shot at being a gryffindor chaser" with that he threw the ball into the air and waited for the chasers to sprint after it.

Jessie was just inches from the snitch with her arm outstretched, and then it zoomed upwards, the entire group of seekers following right after it, and jessie plowed through the group and spun around a few times, but then made a fast recovery, and flew on.

Blaze watched jessie and admired her skills. She was fast and had good eyesight. She could make a good a seeker but there was a lot of competition and he would see that he picked the best person for the job, if even if she was his girlfriend that wouldn't give her any more of a chance then the others.

Jessie got into the front of the pack, and was about to catch the snitch when it changed direction again, but this time she followed it.

Blaze waited for the other seekers to do something or the chasers to react.

Cho smiled and nodded approvingly. She walked next to Blaze. "Jessie has very good eye coordination, agility and speed doesn't she?"
