Lilly smiled. "Hey Matt." She managed to say. He smiled back. "You can sit over here next to me." She blushed. "Okay." She sat down beside him as he began to talk. "I wished I could have told you where I was going but I was afraid you would think I was crazy or something like that."

Lilly walked into the Grifindor common room. It had been a long day. She noticed Matt sitting by himself so she walked over and sat beside him. "Hey." She said. "Hey sorry to leave you but Im really tired." Lilly nodded and decide she would go to sleep also. She walked to her bed and layed down. She felt something on her pillow, a note.

Lilly,
Meet me at the lake tomarrow at noon.

What could he want... its not like he likes me. Lilly could hardly concentrate in her classes. All she could think about was Matt. Then the bell rang and she hurred out the door.  She was sick to her stomach with worry. What if I say somthing stupid? Do I look fine? She jumped around when she felt a tap on her shoulder. "Lilly what I wanted to ask you was... um... Will you go with me to the fall dance?"

Lilly didnt know what to say. "Id love to go to the dance with you." She smiled. "Great! Ill see you at the dance tomarrow!" Matt ran off to his next class. LIlly sat down on a rock, dazed. Then she looked into the water. What am I going to wear? I dont have ANYTHING! She ran off to class, planing to go to hogsmade afterwards. Hopefully Im not late!

As Lilly walked down the streets of Hogsmade looking in all the shops. Sunddenly she stoped when she saw a beautiful dress in the window. Thats it! Its perfect! She ran inside and tried it on. It was a black dress, strapless, and long enough to cover her ankles. It had some sort of sparkle to it. It fit her like it was made for her. She twirled in front of the mirror. I HAVE to buy it. She trew back on her t-shirt and jeans and ran up to the cashiers counter. "That will be $300." She said. Lilly handed over her credit card and then ran out of the store.

Lilly sat on the end of her bed, looking at the picture she had kept of her and Molly. It made her sad that her best friend was so far away. I should write her an email.

Dear Molly,
Its Lilly agian. I have so much to tell you. I am going to a school called Hogwarts... and guess what?
Matts here. He asked me to the dance. There is so much I want to tell you but theres so much i cant!
I really miss you and wish we could hang out agian sometime soon.

Lilly crawed into bed when she heard a beep from her computer. Its Molly!!! She raced over to her laptop.

Dear Lilly,
You will allways be my best friend! I wish you could tell me more but its just one of those things.
Good luck with Matt and have fun at the dance. I really miss you and hope we will see eachother agian.
