*jasmine's eyes stung. she was trying to hold back tears.* because he thinks ill get in trouble for doing tat to him.*she hissed.* i showd get in twoble. *she said sadly.*

*sirius put the seaweed on his chest. it was cold, but it did work.*

"I don't think that jasmine." Sarah said as she looked at her for a sec.

"I just think he should get some real help."

*jasmine protested.* well he would...if he knew i wouldnt get in twouble. hes so stupid. *she hit the ground and made water spirt out of it.* i should get in twouble...but i didn't mean to do it. lestrange made me. *she wimpered.*

"I know that jasmine. I don't care though. I'm tired of siruis always getting hurt because you did it or the fact that he turned into a dog and the officals don't know about it so he would go. He does not want know trouble."

*jasmine burst out crying. her complexion turned red and she practically screamed at sarah.* fine! be a big fat jerk! leave the guy who would do anything for you lying tere like tat! dont try to help him. or fined the person who did its!

"You better shut up thanks you. I was going to look but now I think I could care less." Slaps Jasmine and gets out of water and walked away making sure Siruis saw it all.

*sirius had seen all that had just happened...he was mortified. he stood up and- tripping slightly- ran over to jasmine.*

*jasmine, who had not seen this coming. fell backwords into the water. her scales/skin turned a bright red where sarah had hit her. she was almost unconcious from the blow.*

*sirius bent down and picked her up. putting the seaweed that mira had given him on her. brushing her hair out of her eyes quietly.*

*jasmine had closed her eyes as the seaweed was placed on her cheek. if someone were to smack someone like this...it wouldn't hurt. but for a merperson...the pain you feal from a blow like that, is almost like trippling the pain. she was lightly wimpering now...*

*jasmine fealt the soft touch of sirius's hand on her cheaks and she breathed heavily but happily.*

*sirius took jasmine out of the water and walked unsteadily over to sarah and sat down next to her. not looking at her. just sitting.* why'd you do that? *he asked calmly.*

*sirius sighed and looked down at jasmine who had fallen asleep.* i guess she's not the angel that she appears to be. *he looked at sarah.* im sorry. i never should've put her before you. its just...hard sometimes. i guess i have to realize...that its not like it used to be. i used to be there for them always. now i need to remember to be there for you to. *sirius looked at the lake.* i just have to let go of them sometime. i guess i figured the when i went to hogwarts that i would drift away from them. i guess for the last 6 years, i haven't been ready to. now i am though. after all, i won't be there for jasmine forever. i will be there for you forever though.

that wasn't her tonight though. i think...part of that was her. because she's probably not used to the fact that your the first girl in my life now. i was the brother that she never had. i guess she's probably not ready to give me up yet. but that other half...*he shuddered* i've never seen that side of her. it wasn't her...
