Just want to mention something!

I've noticed that recently people, have been posting in old threads, just to get thir post count higher or something like that. To those people: Stop doing that! Those people who you replyed on is not on the site anymore ( Most)! For a few days ago I saw someone reply a 5 year old topic.
It really bugs me that people do that! So please! Stop!

I just want to say something...and this goes for most of you. When entering an RP, think about how you want the characters to establish contact. It's okay to first reply without making contact, but after that, if the person who made the RP doesn't establish contact, you should! Don't just type one friggin' line about how you noticed someone! Jeeze! You guys need to learn how to role play!

Ha, I'm surprised anyone even trys to post with you Ginny, not only are you more advanced in your writing and such but newbee's can't keep up with how much you write out at one time. Ah I remember when I was a newbee and I would get angry at you you typing such long posts. = D Now I prefer it.

Note to newbee's: Stay away from Ginny. Haha

I know you say stay away from her, but I like RPlaying with her because she does correct me ,and it helps me become a better RPlayer. TO Anyone if you seen something wrong with my posts tell me and I'll fix it. I want to be a good RPlayer and would rather not be hated.
I wanna get back into this site..
My writing has gone way done hill since I left
and well I miss everybody!

harrypotterfan:)

lol...Ginny and few other older members are the best role players here...even though I can say I suck......oh yeah.....Ginny always mention this but people use spell check.....or at least try and spell right so your sentences make sense....

sorry if someone already said that......
Never argue with an idiot. They'll only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

some people wonder what my real name is....it's Faith.....don't make fun of it please=]

Again...post length. Now, it doesn't have to be like...nine million lines long. Not everyone is able to churn out the kind of responses Xaver and myself can.

But what you guys CAN do is put more than what your character says. You can also put more than one action. As Harry (the old one) always said, how often do people just say one or two words and move one part of their body? Not only that...it seems like none of your characters ever think anything!

Here's some examples.

Do NOT do this;
She smiled. "Thanks."

Do something like This;
Ginny smiled, nodding her head with gratitude, "Thanks so much." She told him, shaking his hand. "I really appreciate this. I'll never forget it." She really was happy about his helping her, for few people ever did. It meant a lot to her that someone was willing to go out of their way for her.

When in an RP, try and give everyone a chance to reply. Sometimes, the opportunity is just too good to pass up, but make sure you leave an opening somewhere where people can come back in.

BE PATIENT when waiting. Just because you are online doesn't mean the rest of us are going to be. I get on at the strangest times, and half the time I don't reply to anything. When I'm good and ready, I will post.
Not before.

Exactly! Thank you Ginny! New members need to realize that a fun RP requires a lot of thinking and interaction.

fudge0604

I come on here when I'm back from school, and that is 2-3 PM. How many people are on then?
None... So... In many Rp's, I just have to give up when some people have written six extra pages!
And THAT aggravates me to no end when I'm in a Rp that I really wanna be in!

Completely right Ginny! I'm sick of this, and hoping that people will learn to be patient in RPs.

That's another thing. No offense to anyone, but I've been here a long time, and Ginny is bound to be more powerful then you guys.

I reiterate.
Ginny is going to be more powerful. Because guess what? I've been on this site for five years, I've earned every power. Deal with it. If I power play a little bit, it's because I know how tempting it is for you guys to power play a LOT.
I've sage advice, you know.

I agree with Ginny on everything I've read so far.  You beginners are starting to get ridiculous.  Even though I am still a noob, I don't really act like one, and you all shouldn't either.  That means DON'T JUMP IN AN RP IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING SUBSTANTIAL TO ADD!  Don't just jump in and be all like "Hi I like soup.  Bye!"  Also, stay on the main topic of the topic starter, because it isn't your topic to change.

Spam is EVIL. If you want to have a friggin' conversation, do it in PMs. Do not start random conversation n a topic unless the topic is made for such things! That's why there are such topics.
I saw someone say "Well, then we will talk about the topic and only the topic."
THAT'S THE POINT YOU NIMRODS!

And when someone tells you to stop it, don't argue. JUST STOP. It's not that hard!

Good one, Ginny.

Spam IS evil. Fortunantely, it's not as bad as it was for a while ago...

And people. Let me say this one more time. IT'S NOT THE POST COUNT THAT MATTERS, IT'S THE QUALITY OF THE POSTS THAT YOU MAKE THAT MATTER.

And, something Harry said to me and some others, a while ago,

'When you RP, you should always do the best! You should always do your absolute best,
and not what you 'can do today''         Try to make it a rule for yourself, that before you post in a Rp,
ask youselves. Is this the best I can do?

Now, I'm not trying to say that I am perfect, you guys. You suck!

I know that I have posts that really are short in RPs, where it could be a lot longer!
So let's all go together, and get better! And RP! How did Ginny, Harry, Xaver, and many of 'the oldies' get
better? They RPed, and they did their best.

Teehee, after reading that long rant I just have to say one thing about Ginny Weasley.

1. You terrify not only my character but myself in real life.
2. You are a very mature and experienced writer and for that I congratulate you.
3. You are sometimes hard to understand but it is all good.
4. Your insights on newbee's is both entertaining but understandable and I see where your coming from.
5. You are amazing and one of my close friends on this website.

Thanks for being you Ginny.
