I just wish more people would read this. Some newbies come in and act like they can make stuff up...no matter if it's too powerful for their person...it's stupid.

What makes me mad is when new peoples.. *Even though I'm still sorta new* Come in and change the subject on the RP posts and make it about them.. I mean if I make a post I don't want people coming in and making it all about them.. I mean I don't want them taking it over and them and someone else move from like the Gryffindor commonroom to the forest well the maker of that post isn't there.. It just pushes my buttons... and another thing is when someone comes in and they think that they are more powerful then the people who have been here longest... I mean I made my characters strong but I would easily let Ginny Sarah Sarah Sky... over power my character.. but as for Albus it would be a close fight and I would prolly let him win.. but people who come in and say that they are better at fighting then others that just bugs me crazy..

I agree 100%. (and thanks for putting me on the awesome list.) CERTAIN people on this site go around making things about them and whatnot. But we can't do anything but teach them the appropriate way to RP.

Its not that I like the people who I named more then others... its just they've been here longer... and I also would lose to Xaver.. I haven't ever RP'd with him or Sirius.. But I would like to someday..

Thats why I think I will wait until I get muches better at writing before RPing with him... and I have to work just to try and keep up with Ginny.. sometimes I can.. other times I'm like wow. I'm still working on it though!!

It's true, we tend to just leave people in our dust. But that's usually because our posts almost demand a reply. We force ourselves to stop and wait for people sometimes. It's hard, but possible.

Like Billie and Sky said, if you join a topic, do NOT make it about you unless you have the creator's permission. If you want an RP about your character, then make a new one!
If nobody joins, then nobody cares about it. So too bad.

Certain time, changing the initial subject of an RP is ok. If the creator writes themselves out, if you guys have hit a wall, if you need just a little something to spice it up. Don't go into an RP about one thing and make it about how your character is so smart and strong and powerful. You just look like a jerk on top of being a n00b.

--I've had a helluva year, so I've only been RPing on HPFF here with Gin over the last few months. I dropped every other RP. My RPing became very minimalized, which has only been very little in the number of posties, anyway. I'm lucky Gin's patient ^_^
However, if you ever wanted to RP with me, all you ever had t' do was ask, silly goose. I'm totally up for RPing with anybody, so long as you're not just giving me one liners. I believe that no matter what your talent is, if you're really trying and putting effort into the post and the thread's storyline, that's cool. Trying ends up equalling more than one line =)
