Shadow of the Day

The rain drops fell around her, but truthfully she could care less. The rain hit the ground, mud spattering up agaisnt her legs. Noelle walked outside in shorts and a tank- top. Her hair was pulled up into a ponytail and she didn't wear any makeup. It was unusual to see her soft side, expecially in public. But it was just one of those days that whatever happened, would happen. She was done with trying to control things. Whatever happened, she would live. She layed down on a bench, letting the rain cool her face.
