Vampire Hang Out

Leah was confused.  She realized that he had just biten her and sucked her blood, but what could he have done to make him cry? Was it something she said?  She went over to him, and made him scoot over a little, then settled down ext to him and said softly, *What are you sorry for?*

"You'll see in a few days and you wont be able to control it and I'll be the cause of your pain" Pete said sadly as he looked at her

*What? What are you talking about? Pete, please explain to me, I like you I really do, and it hurts me to see you like this* Leah said.  Even though she had just met him, she liked him and wanted to be friends with him, but knew that they couldn't be if things carried on this way.

"I'm a vampire and now... now you are and I'm sorry but I couldn't control myself and you were just sleeping there you were prefect right there and I did it I changed you and I'm sorry" he said looking into her eyes to see what she was going to say

*What are you talking about? I don't feel any different! I've got the same teeth!* Leah said, not believing that she could hve been turned into a vampire that fast.

Pete smiled showing his prefect teeth "My teeth havn't changed and they wont... you'll just feel different and you'll have to hunt or you could kill someone" he said looking away from her

Leah was determined not to let this ruin their blooming friendship and she slipped her hand inside of his and said, *You'll see, you're wrong.  Now come on.* She pulled him along for a while, before falling into step beside him.  She never let go of his hand.  They soon arrived at the library and she went in, taking him to a part of the library deep within it's heart.  This place was familiar to her, she loved researching Vampires. *Just give me a minute to find the right thing and then you'll see... yes... you'll see* She said as her voice faded so she was more talking to herself then to Pete.  She scanned the shelves for the right book.

Pete followed her and looked at the books. "okay" he said simply a little happier

Leah quickly picked out the right one, and set it on the table, sitting and indicating for Pete to sit next to her.  She flipped open the book and scanned a few pages before exclaiming in a hushed tone *Here it is:To become a vampire bla bla bla* she said skipping over an unimportant part before continuing *You cannot become a vampire by being bitten. Only children under the age of five can change by being bitten.  Otherwise, you must be born vampire.  You can never change out of being a vampire.* The rest was also unimportant, but Leah decided to let Pete decide that for himself as she pushed it towards him *See! It wasn't you at all!*

Pete smiled as he read the book. "Then I'm sorry for bitting you" he said and laughed. then put the book up and looked at her. "the marks should leave you soon if you are a vampire they wont stay to long" he said looking at her neck where he had bitten her

*Oh don't worry about those, I don't mind it.  So come on, let's go back to the common room.  Oh and sorry about biting you... I was kind of mad that you bit me without even asking...* Leah said smiling shyly before saying *Oh and if you ever want some blood, just ask.*

Pete smiled "sorry but like I said before you were just there and you were asleep and you looked tasty" Pete said and laughed *and I don't mind being bit I've actually like it..* Pete thought to himself looking at his wrist.

Leah laughed when he mentioned her being tasty.  *You aren't to bad tasting yourself you know!* She said giggling.  *I like being bit too... as long as it's soft anyways... it kind of tickles!* They were already nearing the common room.

"I try not to bite hard on anyone" Pete said. "I would rather be gentle then be rough" Pete added. As they walked to the commonroom door.
