Pete smiled "I dont know what else to say now" he said smiling

Sky smiled. She was relaxed now. "How's your head?" She asked.

"Better now" he said smiling. "Thanks for asking."

"No problem..." She said.

Pete sat there "How about you you okay?' he asked

Sky looked at him. "Yeah I'm Okay." She said.

"Okay" he said and smiled then looked around.

Sky got out of the chair and sat on the floor to stare at the fire.

"Beautiful but dangerous if you abuse it" he said talking about the fire.

[Sky]

"Stunning and hypnotising." Sky said quietly as she watched the flames dance. She stood up, walked over to Pete, and hugged him. "Thank you Pete."

Pete hugged her back "Anytime" he said smiling at her.

Without another word, Sky went upstairs to lay on her bed. Not to sleep, but think.

Pete just smiled and sat down on the couch and then laid down.

Sky stared at the top of her four poster bed. She thought about her parents and cried some. She cried it all out until there was nothing left. She thought about every detail that she had tried to ignore for years. Finally there was nothing left to feel sad over. She let all of the grief out through her tears. When she was done crying, she accidentally fell asleep.

"Sky..it's time to forget us."
"You've made us very proud."
The images of Sky's parents were in her head.
"But...but..." Said Sky.
"No buts." Said her father.
"We're okay." Said her mother. "We're okay." She whispered.
"I miss you." Sky said, hugging her father and mother.
"We miss you too Sky. Just remember that we'll always look over you. We love you." Her father whispered. Just then...they began to fade.

Sky sat up quickly. "Momma.....Daddy!" She said as if she were six years old again.
