Yes to help the world, what do you do?

What do you, as an invidual person, do every day, to help the planet?

Many people say that they are really big with doing things to help save and recycle, so i want some tips, because I have no clue what to do. Here in this topic, you can also give tips to others.

So let's start!

I actually do alot of things to help such as sit at my computer desk for five or six hours.....lol.....

okay I was only joking.....I organize a group of people and we clean up local parks and our community every four months sometimes every three months......depends

That's nice! I go to Feed My Starving Children a lot and make donations.  I also turn off the water in the shower when I'm putting in my shampoo.

I don't actually do anything.

I don't see how I can help, being as I don't have much inicitive, nor much of a lasting impression upon such things as the world.

What I do consider as something to help the world that I do is this; I am nice to everyone I meet. Cheery, kind, helpful, and sweet, even if they are mean to me at first. Why? Because I think more people need to be like this. We need more nice people in the world, more people who are willing to help out, and more people who offer a smile.
I'm also working on my website to make it more useful to teenagers looking for help on the way things are in todays world.

That's a good idea Ginny... to help the world, you don't have to do it directly, just be nice to people around you!

yeah that's so true I don't know if this was true but there was this dude that jumped off the bridge...he wrote a note and left it in his room. The note said" 'If at least one person smiles at me today, I won't commit suicide.' " Not one person smiled at him and he jumped off the bridge taking his life. I don't know if my teacher told us that so we realize what we were doing at the time or it was really true.......but it was so sad

I drive a 40 foot tall monster truck that runs entirely on owls. I use it every time I go to my neighbor's house.
