Mira's going away party

Jackie stumbled and was thrown to the ground.  She looked up as she man laughed evily.  Then a bright light appeared, and the man was gone, but Jackie was on the ground with her eyes closed when it disappeared.

Leah had been about to stupefy the man, but when he disappeared, she ran to Jackie who was on the ground.  *Are you ok?* She asked.

"..."  Jackie opened her mouth, but no words came out. She grabbed her throat devastated.  She finally gathered her bearings.  ~My voice!~  She shouted through her mind to everyone, before starting to sob on the ground.  ~My-my voice!!!~

Billie looked at her and got her message in her mind. "We should take her to the Hospital Wing, maybe Madam Pomfrey can do something." she said. "That was what the man wanted wasn't it" she asked.

*The hospital?  Oh, thay can't do anything!*  Jackie thought, not leaving up mind blocks so everyone could hear.  *We have to go find him!*

"Fine lets go" Billie said then looked around. "Where do you think he has gone to?"

~Hold on Billie, we should think to each other.  That way we can be invisible to him.  If we want to find him, we'll need to be quiet.~ Jessie thought to Billie.

Leah knelt down by Jackie and stroked her hair.  She sent calming waves to her through telepathy, trying to soothe her.

*Okay then* Billie said and walked over to Jackie. *You ready to go and get your voice back?* she asked her.

~How should we get around?  If we walk, there are so many leaves and things on the ground that would make noise... maybe we could climb from tree to tree? Or we could fly with our brooms... that would probably be the easiest.~ Jessie thought to them all, enforcing her mind barriers so that only this small group could hear her thoughts.

*If you guys can fly, I'll stay on the ground. That way you can look for him up there, and I can looked for him near the grounds.* Billie said to the group. Billie wasn't to great of flyer, but was practicing.

Jessie thought to the group, ~We should stay in pairs, so Billie you shouldn't go by yourself, you should have a partner to go with you, I can if no one objects.~

*What if hes not on Hogwarts grounds anymore?* She asked them. Billie stopped and began to think. It was Jackies voice, she is connected to it. Shouldn't she have a way to tell were the guy went. *Jackie focus on your voice* Billie began. *Once you can hear it try and picture the man, you hsould be able to see his surroundings and that should tell us where he is* She said.

~That's a god idea Billie! Jackie, focus really hard.  Small details, like a mole or a freckle will make things a lot clearer.~ Leah thought, remembering that she had learned that in a class.
