Nate wore a black hoodie to hide him in the darkness. He wanted to escape his dorm so badly that he thought he would drown if he didnt get a gulp of fresh air. He flipped his hood up over his dark hair and slid quietly out into the commonroom. He looked cautiously as he peered around and into the commonroom. He was planning on going outside. He tiptoed in very carefully and stopped at the rear of the doorframe that led to a huge hall and to long mysterious stairs, and all the way down to a huge castle like doors. He looked side to side and then turned behind him to peer into the commonroom, to see if anyone was coming... ((anybody can join))

Stacey sat in the gloom. She was hidden in the shadows of the corner. Her eyes turned black so they wouldn`t reflect anything. Her own black hoodie and dark jeans hid her even better. She tilted her head up to follow Nate`s figure. Why didn`t he just go out the window? She wondered.

He could feel a presence but said nothing. It must be just imagination. He looked side to side again from the hallway and took in one light breath and with a blurr he ran fast. He felt invinsible, but then again he loved the feeling of almost getting caught. The way your heart races, and your stomach tosses and turns. Something about it felt so right. He flew down the hall, not even making a wind or a noise. It felt good being a vampier. He raced to the other end ofthe hallway and stopped abruptly at the stairs. He was deciding whether or not go down the rail, if faster, or down the steps.

"The rail would be faster, I think." A voice said behind him.

Lavy stepped out from around the corner. She had just came from another common room, making sure everyone was in bed. She had decided to check around Slytherin. The students there tended to sneak out alot. And she had to admit they were very good at getting past most of the hall monitors. But not her. There were a total of four people in the whole school who could get past her at any time.

"You know, you could probably get in trouble for wondering around at night." She waved her hand and a light burst to life, illuminating a twenty five foot radius.

His rambling thoughts skidded to a halt as he turned around on his heel and was face to face with Lavy. He blinked cluelessly feeling a little dumbfounded,"Oh..uhm sorry," he stuttered. His face flushed as he had just got caught.

She laughed loudly "Not to worry, I'm just warning you. I won't turn you in but I can't say the same for others."

Stacey came up behind Lavy with a big smile on her face. "Don`t look at me," She said to Nate, "I didn`t tattle. But really, why didn`t you go out the window?" She crossed her arms.

Nate looked up with a sparkle in his eye as he heard Staceys voice. He smiled lightly and said nicely,"I just felt like getting into trouble i guess.."

"Well trouble is what your going to get into if you don't hurry." Lavy walked past him and sat down on the railing, "I'll race you down."

He smiled childishly,"Ohh its on," he challenged. Before she could say anything he slid down the railing fast and onto his feet.

Lavy was already walking away to the main doors, "Not fast enough it seems," She said with a little laugh this time, "Come on before someone catches you and I get in trouble for not reporting you."

Nate smiled and shrugged,"I still dont get why you dont report me. Isnt there like a rule or something against keeping it a secret?"

"I like you Nate. You're pretty cool. And besides, you don't give me any trouble, which is more then what I can say for most of the students from Slytherin."

He shrugged,"I dont really like being in Slytherin. I dont like it when people automatically expect me as some cruel idiot or something because of it. "
