Stacey couldn`t hold back the tears now. Her eyes watered and her voice cracked as she spoke. "I`m sorry, Nate. I really do love you, it`s just... you`re a vampire. Not that that is the reason why, but you are going to live hundreds of years after I die someday."

Nate shook his head as a tear ran down his cheek. He put on a small sad smile and said sadly,"I understand...I will always love you though..."

Stacey reatched out to brush the tear from Nate`s cheek. "I know you will. And I want you to know, even after I`m long gone that I still love you."

Nate shook his head warily. He looked down, and brushed off his pants. He said softly,"I guess its over then."

Stacey sighed and nodded. "I guess." She agreed quietly.

Nate looked side to side to keep from being occupied. "I guess i should leave then." He said more to himself than to her.

Stacey looked at the ground sadly. She didn`t say anything; she really didn`t want Nate to go, but it would be for the better.

Nate put on a little cute smile and said softly,"Oh come on we are still friends. I still get to make fun of you and all that fun stuff." He said trying to make her smile.

Stacey looked up to Nate and smiled softly. Her eyes swirled a sad grey. "I know. And I still get to make fun of you." She answered.

Nate smiled back sadly, he shrugged," I just dont want any weirdness to come between us.."

Nate put out his pinkyfinger,"Promise," he said childlike.
