It was the first snow of the year.  Everything was white, like cotton balls.  KeKe had just been out walking around, and was in her skinny jeans with her snow boots over them, she had on a tanktop with a off white sweater on over it.  She had cut her hair the other day, and it was shorter.  Everything was to her, the days were shorter, walks, hours, minutes, day, week, months, years. Everything.
She looked around Hogsmead, the steam coming out from the warm bars, and stores.  It was cold outside, light snow falling down, maybe some  people walking out on the streets but then going into a bar, for a glass of Butterbeer.  There weren't many people out, but it seemed like there would be soon.  She noticed little kids playing in the snow, first years, and there were older kids playing around to.  But know one she recognized.
She made her way across town, she put up her hood over her black head of hair, and walked into a shop.  She didn't know what one she walked into, and what was in it but she needed to get out of the cold before she froze.  All KeKe could smell was candy, and when she opened her eyes.  That was all that see saw

"I want some purple ones, Mom."
The voice was quiet, but clear cut. Obviously a child's voice, but his pronunciation was so precise, he sounded much older. Not far away from the door that Keke had just come through stood a black haied blue eyed five year old boy. He was looking at his red headed mother, who had her back to Keke.

"Ok. Get some blue too, I think your dad like those one." Ginny instructed him, hugging herself. Her hoodie was slightly too big for her, and hung off her shoulders as if she were a small child trying on her mother's clothes. But it hid her now expanding belly well.
And it kept her warm.

Cody nodded, looking up at Keke. He smiled, then nudged his mom, "Isn't she one of your students?"

KeKe heard people talking all around her,  she saw that there were people looking and buy the candy.  She went over and looked around on the selves.  Whoa, she thought.  Look at all the different types of jelly beans.  She grabbed some and red what they were.  Eww.  Not the kind that she likes.  She put them back and then went over and grabbed her favortie.  BlueBerry.  She loved it when you ate so many you mouth turned blue.  That was the best part of getting them, I mean who didn't want a blue mouth?  She thought to herself and laughed a bit.

She went up to the line and waited to buy her candy.

Cody grinned at his mother, setting the candy down.

"Cody--" Ginny tried to warn him to behave, but he was off like a shot. He slid right next to Keke, standing on his toes and inspecting her choice of candy.

"Green is better." He said, smirking at Keke as he looked at what she held. He gave her a thoughtful look, "Blue is alright, I guess. But green has always been my favorite."

"Cody!" Ginny finally showed up, shaking her head, "I'm sorry." She said to Keke, "He sees Hogwarts students and thinks it's his job to harass them."

KeKe looked down at the boy who was talking to her, she smiled.

"Oh really?  Well have you ever had green and blue....at the same time?"she asked him.  She looked up and Ginny, and smiled again.

"It is okay.  I don't mind."she said then thought about want she said, "Well I mean, I don't like being harrassed but, he is a boy.  But very smart at his age."she finished.

"And what would you be getting boy?"she asked Cody looking down at him.

Cody pulled out some long whips of some sort of candy, and nodded to what his mom carried. Which was an armload of assorted candies.
"Today is shopping day. So we're stocking up on everything!" he grinned, "And since me and dad love candy, Mom is forced to buy a lot if she wants any."

Ginny sighed, "As if he weren't hyper enough already."

She smiled at him and looked at Ginny with wide eyes, "Wow."was all that she could get out.

"I think today is the perfect day to build a snowman, or have a snowball fight."she said randomly, then smiled as she heard Ginny's comment about Cody being hyper all the time.

She laughed a bit, glad that is was weekend and that meant no school.

"Maybe, if it's the right kind of snow." Cody gazed thoughtfully out the window of the shop, then nodded at Keke.  "Probably is. You could build an eight foot snowman. Those are always fun."

Ginny rolled her eyes as the line moved up.
"Thinking big?" She asked her son sarcastically. He grinned and shrugged.

She smiled once more, "That would be amazing!"she said to him.  She moved up with the line.

She looked out the window, and smiled once more, thinking about last years big snow.

"I wounder how big the biggest snowman ever mad was."she said and looked at Ginny and Cody.

"Biggest recorded in England was 10 feet." Cody said, kneeling down and picking up a dime. He flipped it around in his fingers, smiling at keke. How he knew this useless bit of information was beyond anyone.

Ginny shivered, "Probably took them forever..." She shook her head, "I hate the cold." She explained to Keke.

KeKe looked at them and nodded,  "I bet it did take them forever, but I bet they had fun doing it and that is what is important."she said to Ginny.

The line moved up a little more, then the person checking out got in to a fight about the price of her items.  KeKe stood there and tried to not pay attention to the commotion.
